Great idea Failed but it would be a very fine marker to do that....
Now its after midnight, I can think better. Platt, at first I agreed with ya somewhat but what makes this effect so unique is the clean up is 100 percent! Nothing at all to find. As a matter of fact, this morning I had a hard time finding what I needed to in bright light in order to reset. So from a magic prospective, what you have is basically what I would call "real magic" if you decide to go that route. I personally from a theatrical prospective choose aother path.

I was getting the most enjoyment out of the business card prediction variation. I was using 4 white, 2 green and love the triple fold and two step reveal. Also a great way to get a card into someones hands.

I like the business card version too but if the spectator doesn't take all the mints, you are "wrong".. I have to think an out for this case

The out is ingenious and explained on the dvd! Check it again.
 I have used it with much success... It's almost better than if they do pour them all out!

THANKS for the great comments and fantastic feedback! Glad to hear everybody is enjoying Mintalist. It's a great "utility" device that allows you to do tons of different effects, mental or magic wise so the more creative you are, the more effects you're able to create with Mintalist. That being said; I already received some great ideas from users so we might throw them together at some point in a PDF for Mintalist owners... Alex DLF, Regarding the business card version, both spectator and magician take mints out behind their back...so there's your "out" -it's build into the routine

I just missed something on the DVD so ! I was playing with my gimmick while watching the explanations ^^' the more I play with it the more I enjoy it, definitely a must buy.

Ok, words of truth, this is one of the smartest and devious props I've ever purchased. The DVD itself reminds me a lot of Strip. They show you everything so all bases are covered.

For $45 this better be something very different at clever than Daniel Garcia's effect on his 5 download. That was clever and seems like it could do 4 outta 5 of these effects. Plus you can make the gimmick easily.

Well, Mintalist is not only devious and innocent, but I truly respect the craftmanship of Peter and Uday in ensuring the gimmick is always at top notch condition.
While the offered routines are not many, but just reading and sharing from people in the Café, will give you more ideas and creativity.

Without giving anything away, this method is a LOT better than the one from Garcia, it means that the box can be examined ! A thing which couldn't be done with Garcia version. I used to use this one before, very clever and easy to make but Peter bring this thing to an all new level ! And as FailedMagician said, the craftmanship is.. Wow ! So small and so clever and so well made
for 45$, you know what you are paying for !

Just received this and I absolutely love it. One of the best purchases I have made in a while. Someone told me that they googled the outcome trying to figure out how it's done. He was thinking about it hours after I showed him. Sweet!
