I suspect you are posting this in the wrong place.
Bizarre magic is most definitely NOT geek magic! And any halfway decent bizarrist should have pointed this out by now. |

Yeah peter.....however..
there are people like.....*me* who love to mix the too...haha Its just our style... and in the geek forum they really aren't as good with illusions per say..... they are more into "the real geek magic"....which is usually ironically not magic;) but tasteless fun I love;) Bizarrisst ARE REALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!as far as illusions go from all over the magic spectrum ..... long live magic. and bizarrist and geeks...haha.... |

Luke Jermay in his book "Building Blocks" has an effect called "Stigmata to Go ".
I havn't tried it yet , but I feel it could be reworked using the principle for anykind of performance. Amazing Dick

It's been my understanding that there can be overlap between bizarre and geek magic, as long as it doesn't focus too strongly on the grossout factor and seems at least a little mystical, but this probably should've been in the other forum.

For all I know he could return tormorrow and right everything. BTW, you're talking about the bleeding heart trick I presume, I've been interested in that and the one where you slice your chest open and pull out a card. I think that under the mode of being a vampire, for myself, that would fall more into the bizarre realm than the geek because it's within character to do something like that.

Eerrrm ummmm ok that's no good news; hopefully peter (my dealer...NO NOT THAT KIND OF DEALER) has it in stock! it's a special order trick!
answering all the PM : for the "real" stigmata, let's just say several props inspired me and a couple of routines I am already familiar with, already started "reassembling" the props together, will give it a test run and hit you all back! and if anybody has a "gimmick" that is built for that purpose please do advise, excited that I actually thought of a way to accomplish that, it's a big ego boost and a push forward to try to come up with new stuff!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned SAW by Sean Fields. I've only been doing it a short time, and it leaves 'em in awe!

As far as pulling part of your brain out, you could use a psychic surgery type of effect to do it, though more hair will make it look better.
