I just got the email update on this, myself. Looks very promising! Excellent, routining. I wouldn't expect anything less from the wonderful Bill Abbott! I plan to work this into my routine later on this year. I'm super stoked!

Something called "Impossible Killer"
Impossible Killer Routine: A borrowed deck is shuffled by a spectator. From this point forward the performer does not touch the deck at any time. Any number of cards are cut from the top of the deck and the spectator immediately holds the cards close to their chest and walks to the other side of the room. Only then do they peek at the card they cut to. Before they return they cut the cards in their hands burying the card at an unknown location. And once they return their cards are then mixed with the rest of the deck. The performer dramatically reveals the exact card they are thinking of. Truly impossible. I purchased during the superdeal, it's over now. |

Darn! Got the email but missed the Superdeal. My computer's broken and I'm checking email on an Android phone. I'll have to purchase this at regular price. Oddly all prices on Bill's site are in CAD w/ no option to change it. I guess PayPal will let me know the cost!

Review: (Not Really but still) Its an absolute worker - Peter performs this almost every time he is at Monday Night Magic and it never fails to get gasps..The handling is simple, the routine is well structured and the story line is great..not much more you can ask for...Its priced higher then I expected, but your getting a piece from a mans working act, so it makes it fair...
The Secret Stuff is awesome as well, Peter literally gives the person a napkin once they are done and it wipes off instantly.. All this I say as a spectator to the routine, its a true killer and that its impromptu is an added bonus. |

There is a minor setup that you have to do, which can easily be done in a small private moment but you can't grab a napkin on the spot and do it. That being said, it is a really nice illusion. Also it's so easy it's almost self-working! |

Anyone know if there's a video of the performance? I like to see what I'm paying for before I pay (no, the video on Bill's site doesn't actually show a full performance)

I think you will find that it's not shipping until 10th May if you read the small print on the Paypal receipt.
It's a great routine which I read in the Mystery school book a few years ago. Of course it did'nt have any work on the ashes on palm. I love Peter Samelson but I do hope Bill releases something for a kids show soon.

For all you youngsters, the tricks and principles are very old. The ashes on palm is a killer effect, use to be done with cigarette ashes, do to laws it was lost, nice to have someone come up with a way to bring it back to magic presentation. I use to do the Ashes on palm all the time in bars. Found it in a Don Alan booklet, "Close-up Time" I believe. No, it is in "Pretty Sneaky" page 43.
I did note that Bill gave proper credit to the late Karroll Fox for his ideas in making this routine come around. His genius is missed and has been applied very well to these two effects. |

Here we are over a year later. WHo is loving this. I use to do this all the time(ASHES) and then moved to lip stick or cue chalk.

Anyone care to comment on their experience with this, now that it has been out for awhile? Do people recommend the optional "secret stuff" and/or the belt holder?
