Revelations - by Magical Publications. This is the copy of Erdanse with Vernon adding thoughts on the text. In the back of the book in my own opinion there is shuffle work worth learning.

Daren,
Although the suggestions above are fine. Here is a link to what I believe to be the best available video instruction on the shuffle you're asking about. It's a link to the download. I do not recall if Jason discusses any block transfer info. I'm abroad and unable to put hands on the DVD. http://www.theory11.com/tricks/push-thro......land.php KG |

I agree with Kent, Jason is an excellent teacher

It seems like people get the terminology mixed up about these shuffles more than anything else. So, does anyone have any information on the Block Xfers in the context of a Push Through Shuffle?? |

It is in Rifle Shuffle Systems by Marlo. I am not going to give you a specific page because if you are doing rifle shuffle work you should read the whole thing. The block transfer stuff is in the first book.
Jason England teaches it very well on the video and that also will get you started. How big a block are you trying to transfer? As you see on the video you can do a full deck false shuffle with the push through. I am thinking you are looking for something else and what you seek will be found in the Rifle Shuffle Systems by both Marlo and Fulves. One last thing.....sometimes it is not on video and you must "do the work" through the printed word. If it is done right you will not see anything other than the cards being shuffled. |

If you get the Racherbaumer edition it has pics which enhance the drawings from the Marlo only version of Riffle Shuffle Systems.
Marlo even states and shows how block transferred can be applied to any tabled riffle shuffle. So it comes down to what you are applying the block transfer to and what you will accomplish with it. On video Marlo demonstrated tabled shuffle work but it not always easy to see as I stated before. When done right, there is nothing to see. Try to watch private studies and prime time marlo to see some excellent Marlo tabled riffle shuffles. |

Jon Racherbaumer was working on a big riffle shuffle book. Not sure how long I will have to wait.

There's a method in the Vernon Chronicles Volume 2 for executing the Push Through Shuffle with a Block Transfer also. According to Denis Behr's archive, there's also a version in the Castle Notebooks.

The one in the Castle notebook was used for the Chronicles Vol. 2 and cleaned up.
