I just finished watching this film and I must say that it's quite spooky!
Halle Berry did a good job in this film and I enjoyed the return of Robert Downey Jr from his re-hab.
If you're looking for a good cheap scare/spooky film, See Gothika.
Overall= B

If you have seen Ring, Ringu, Fear Dot Com then you have seen the premise. I really liked Halley escaping from a Maximum Security Prison for the Criminally Insane! It really comforted me knowing that the Keystone cops are alive and well and working at a Maximum Security institution. Frankly the plot had holes in it that you could drive an 18-wheeler through. I thought the ending was telegraphed by mid-point of the film.

That said the ensemble actors in general did a good job with their roles. I agree I enjoyed seeing Robert Downey, Jr. back on the screen.

Rated it a B.
