Looking for some family-friendly answers to this question besides a newspaper or a penguin with a sunburn for a routine I'm working on. Please post your best answers. Thanks!

David Ginn has a video called "Magic in Black and White ... and Red All Over." It's a complete show based on this theme. During the performance, he offers up several family-friendly answers to this question.

George...

Creative minds think parallel.

Well perhaps more like the uneven bars, said Nigel, the puppet that rocks and talks.

Jay Marshall did the vanishing cane (rolled in newspaper). He "explained" that his grandfather's favorite riddle was "What's black and white and read all over?"

(Jay): "I don't ask that riddle any more. Kids today have 'creative answers'!

I asked a young man the other day, and he said, "A bleeding nun!" (He's rolling the cane in the paper as he does these lines).

Another boy answered, "A skunk with diaper rash!"

A third youngster said, "A blushing zebra!"

IF YOU SEE A YOU TUBE OF JAY, TITLED: "THE SAGA OF JUAN ESCADERO" (a paper hat routine which led up to the cane vanish) you'll see the cane vanish with the lines.
