Just two things I saw. One he way you change scenes with the static effect, I just didn't like that. Other than that GREAT promo.
The second this is that my eyesight is not what it used to be, that's why I read the title as "New Porn Video." That really got my attention. |

I thought it was VERY GOOD! Professionally done and good music to match! The only thing I can add is maybe add a couple of quick 1-3 seconds magic clips before the testimonials as your viewers don't get to see you in action until 27 seconds into the video?
Otherwise, this is very good and represents your product professionally

I liked it! What kind of camera did you use to shoot it? I'm in the market for a new camera.

26 seconds before the first sight of you, 28 seconds before the first piece of magic/entertainment. Way, way, way too long. And then at the 1 min mark you start seeing testimonials again. If people even make it that far (study your analytics for audience retention and you'll see how fast most people turn off a video when words come on the screen), they will turn it off surely as soon as words come on the screen for the second time in under a minute.
You've got such great video footage. It's a promo *video*, so let the magic speak for itself. Cut as many testimonials out of the video as you can, or stick them towards the end. People don't want to read words when watching a video, they want to see what you do. |

Great advice and food for thought Brian. Too often we look at a demo from our perspective not the intended viewer and for what is trying to be achieved.

Magicjg,
Great video, it just needs tightening. Those "static" transitions need to be much, much shorter. Try 1/2 or 1/3 the time they are now. They're annoying (like Paddy said), people hate that static sound, but it can be a cool transition when it's used right. It should be very, very short. Watch some Hollywood movie trailers. The transitions are very, very tight. Like Brian said, let the magic speak, not the video transitions. Shorten the sound effect and the visual transition. Good work, Kevin |

Sorry I'm late to the conversation. Good length. Here are some things you may want to consider - tips from Steve Russell for Entertainment Experts. (These are still unlisted on YouTube and haven't been released on the site yet.)
Steve on the use of demo video voice overs: http://youtu.be/Q85QGF-OXio Steve on demo video editing: http://youtu.be/cMEHE5kMCVc If you want to see an example of his editing work - you can check out the front page video on my web site: http://www.ComedyVentriloquist.com Hope they help. |

Good stuff, Jason ! Tom, I like you front page video as well. Steve Russell did a promo video for me and I couldn't be happier. Ture professional who knows what he's doing from opening scene to the call to action close. I'll use Steve again to do my next video too!
