This is delightful...I love how you created this lifetime (actually multiple lifetime) relationship in such a clean, spare manner through images and music. I thought I'd heard enough of "Canon in D" for *my* lifetime, but I think our familiarity with the piece works here, as does your choice of the simple solo piano version. Bravo for your directorial work with the actors, especially the kid actors.

I'm sure that the simple beauty of this is deceptive, and--if you'd care to share someday--I'd love to hear your take on the "making of" of the movie--scouting locations, the shooting schedule, casting, etc.

Very well thought out, makes every magician think about family and the importance of spending time with your kids and grandkids, and the first time you thought about giving them a simple trick or getting them involved in magic. Nicely done!
