I just heard the internal spring unravel inside the brass tube of my auto silk to ball. I did not over wind this (I count the winds each time I set it); it just happened.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone might know how to fix this. Thanks Peter |

If you purchased it from Viking Magic or have the Viking version, then get with George.
If you purchased an off brand, then you are on your own. |

It sounds to me that the tail end of one of the springs broke. That can be caused by substandard wire used in the making of the spring.
