anyone else having trouble trying to access Chef Anton's site , School for Scoundrels etc, ?

I can't get any of the links to work after I've done a search on Google.

any ideas ?

Thanks Pete but the same result. I can get to Whits site but, click on the link.. Zilch!! I've e-mailed Whit about this and he says the server some times just plays up...Not every day surely.

Still no wiser.

Browser configuration? Works fine for me.

I got through to every site Whit listed with no problems.

Howard, try cleaning your cache/deleting your cookies. Also, check your settings to make sure your browser/firewall/anti-virus program is allowing you to sites that have third-party cookies. That was a problem for me before when I couldn't access sites. Once I took these actions, I was fine.

Well ..its stumped all my collegues at work. I've done the following

allowed all cookies.
cleared all temporary files
got latest IE with 128 bit encryption
still all I get when trying to connect to any of the above mentioned links is a blank screen and "Done" showing in the toolbar. Any new ideas from the Computer Geeks out there?

Maybe its a firewall blocking any site containing the word scoundrel ?

We had a Local Authority in the UK that blocked swear words - they couldn't understand for days why they could no longer access their own site and send/receive internal email - the authority name.... Scunthorpe.gov.uk

Have you tried hiting the refresh button? This works for me when I hit a blank screen.

Computers are like that. Some sites just never worked for me on my computer.

There actually may be a problem with the way the School For Scoundrel's domain names are set up. I sent a detailed email to Whit explaining the potential problem with some solutions.

I too had no ability to access it from my computer at work. I tried everything. No luck.

It is possible that some internet providers cannot access the site the way the domain names are set up. Until this thread started, Whit & Chef probably didn't know that some people couldn't access it. My email to Whit explained to them why and depending on when they make the necessary changes, it may take about 72 hours from when they make the changes for the site to be visible to those of you who cannot see it.

Steve , thanks again I'm with Tiscali as my server ,probably its not common over there so I guess you are maybe right.
I now anxiously await the ability to connect.

Try using a proxy server. You can test it using http://www.megaproxy.com. Do a google search for "free proxy server" for available proxies.
