While my question has nothing to do with magic, I couldn't find anywhere else to post this.

How do I get to the middle pages in a particular forum?

Example only - Lets say, I want to go to Page 9.

Do I need to click on page 3, and then click next page many times until I get to page 9? Or work backwards?

Is there a way of going directly to a particular page?

I don't think there's a direct link way but you can do it by editing the address. Just modify the start= parameter on the end. For examble above is direct link to page 9 of pick a card forum. There is 30 messages per page so 30 is page 2 and 60 page 3 and so on.

The trick to what you are trying to do is to note the url in the address bar. You'll notice that each time you click to go to a subsequent page the "&start" variable increases by 30. To get to a much later page, for instance page 9 of the tech help area you'd type http://themagiccafe.com/forums/viewforum......tart=270
