Because we still have people.

We have wars because the global elite, plane them and know the result of them, years before they create the cause of them.

You are living through a script.

You'd think their planning skills would have improved then.

If there's a script they need to start including more stage directions.

Agreed - there should be formidable caution when we do things that we may not be able to reverse.

Speaking of this topic of war, I thought I would share this with you guys. Before, during and after pictures of the faces of soldiers deployed to Afghanistan (these are photographs of British soldiers): http://news.yahoo.com/photos/soldiers-po......ideshow/ . The pictures are set up as a slide show of the various soldiers and each of their pictures of before, during and afterward.

Speaking of war, this does not look good:

Iraqi officials have found three mass graves containing the bodies of about 1,000 people thought to have been executed by US soldiers during their occupation of the country.

They have the eyes of old men and women in the after photos, the eyes of trauma and stress in the during photos and the eyes of innocence in the before photos.

It should be noted that PressTV is an Iranian propaganda outlet based in Tehran. Despite using the term "executed" in the first paragraph, the article then goes on to describe the two battles of Fallujah that presumably resulted in the casualties.

Also interesting that no mainstream news sources have paid much attention to this Iranian "report," but it is repeated verbatim on many extremist sites.

Quote:
Press TV is a 24-hour English language news network owned by the state-owned media corporation Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). Its headquarters are located in Tehran, Iran.

The station has been criticized for its anti-Americanism and uncritical embrace of conspiracy theories. For British journalist Nick Cohen the station is "a platform for the full fascist conspiracy theory of supernatural Jewish power"[3] and for commentator Douglas Murray it is the "Iranian government’s propaganda channel".[4]

You might have mentioned that, Tommy, when you posted this as if it was a legitimate news story.

I noticed that - first I thought the story sounded unlikely and wondered why I hadn't heard it anywhere else. When I googled it I found exactly as you say, the same story repeated without any verification.

And also a similar story from 2005, that this one seems to be built on.

FWIW ... This appears to be where the story originated (at least, various other pages cite it as a source):

http://www.abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&id=420008

If it matters, it uses the word 'killed' and not 'executed' in the story ... but 'executed' does appear in the headline blurb.

This is the network behind the site:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahlulbayt_TV

If you can believe Wikipedia, "The channel, which seems to enjoy great popularity amongst Western-born Muslim youths preaches moderation and has several shows dedicated to women, presented by females from various backgrounds."

The implication of the OP was that US troops secretly "executed" a thousand Iraqis and buried them in a mass grave, when in fact the dead were casualties of the two battles of Fallujah.

I think that is true. I have little doubt they have found three mass graves containing a 1000 corpses of people killed by the USA and us there. We were bombing the place to bits with depleted uranium bombs etcetera and I am only surprised they have not found more mass graves than that. I don't know what else one would expect to find there. In war people do get burried in mass graves. It looks bad but such is war.
