Hello,in my act I bring out a vent dog from my suitcase,the dog will fit in a space 1ft x 1ft .
I'm after a different way of producing it and was thinking of a folding production box,any ideas where to get a large one from or another idea of making it magically appear ,,thanks tony |

Hi Tony
You might consider making a Square-Circle production apparatus with a dog house design in a size to accomodate your pooch. (Easy-to-do and If you're not familiar with the details to such a prop, you can find same in many books devoted to Magic.) Julie |

You will have to have this made, or have a good wood craftsman make you one, a tip over box. Open the lid tilt the box and show empty, then close, now open the lid and remove your vent figure.

Wiz Kid Qua-Fiki created a little dog house for his mechanical dog "Puppy Fiki" found in The Wizards' Journal #18. The box can be built to any size just by adjusting the measurements. Because it doesn't hold a live dog, Qua-Fiki found he could make his box from foam board rather than wood or hardboard. A live animal would kick the foam board apart, but Puppy Fiki is well trained and stays OFF until he is turned ON. However, any building material can be used that suits your purpose, including stiff cardboard which can be cut out with scissors and put together with duct tape if you wish.

...but I actually like the Square Circle idea best so far. Simple to make, easy to perform, and you could make it look really cool. Look at some of Chance Wolf's props for ideas on how to make the decoration look appealing to kids (just don't copy his work! )
