...and I fogot to mention that when I try to connect to the main adress (the one used to load your own photos), not only I can't loggin, but I only get the 5 esp pages (and no vibes on my iPhone of course)and nothing more.
Bottom line: it does not work, and Greg Rostami does not answer and/or is not reachable...

maybe it just take some time, but now the website is working...
BUT... here is the next problem. it simply doesn't work! I activate on my iPhone...
go to the adress with another device, go through the pictures... nothing happens. my phone gets nothing!
It works, but only if I activate the website, switch to the safari app and do type in the url...
switch through the pictures, stop at one, go back to the telefoto-app and than I receive something.
but I guess this should not be the trick^^

Sorry that I haven't been able to answer you. I was on a holiday this memorial day weekend so it was harder to get to all the teleFoto threads on the Café.

Here are the reasons why you're having problems:

1. The low-resolution fake low-battery photo is a known problem. We'll fix it in the next update. Most of the time this shouldn't be a problem since your phone is in your pocket.

The reason why the images in the albums are low-res is because we wanted them to load as fast as possible on mobile browsers . . . As small as they are, in some locations, they still take a little time to load.
I wanted to create a fluid user interface that people are accustomed to where people quickly swipe through an album of photos.
In a future version of teleFoto we may allow you to set the resolution and quality of your photos, but you'll be responsible for the slow download speeds.


2. Some countries and some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) block the use of certain URL shorteners.
The solution to this problem is to have your spectator (transmitter) use the real URL of your album.

So don't use this:
para.ms/ph/x-x

Use this:
http://tele-foto.appspot.com/album/?id=x-x

Replace the "x-x" with your albums post fix.


3. PC(Windows) browsers (especially IE) running virus protection will block java-script from transmitting any data out of the browser.
This is a known problem . . . we're looking into the problem, but I can't guarantee that we'll find a solution.

If you want to use windows as a transmitter, sometimes using another browser solves the problem.

This isn't much of a problem since most of your performances are going to be from your spectators mobile browser.

Mac internet browsers don't have this problem.

The new url you provide works now, but my iphone does not vibe to the pictures - when I tap twice the upper left corner of the fake battery picture, it just pops again to the 2 url - which don't work in my country, ans nothing more: I don't get the pictures I see on my ipad...
I think I should have to use the same new urls you provided, but how can I get them to my app?
The strange thing is that I got a friend who got your app the same day (and who is French too) and his app works!...

The answer is in the teleFoto instructions.

To have your iPhone vibrate, you must:
Go to your iPhone Settings -> Sounds -> and turn on both "Vibrate on Ring" and "Vibrate on Silent".

The required OS stats don't mention the 3GS on iphone, will it not be compatible?

It should work on your iPhone 3GS . . . I can't think of a reason why it shouldn't.

Unless you have a really old OS.

If it's not compatible with your OS then you'll not be able to download it.

Apple makes sure you can run the apps you DL from iTunes.

We have a little surprise for you . . .

Tonight we added a new album to your default albums.

It's George's famous Random album, that I've slightly modified.

All you have to do is either restart your copy of teleFoto, or touch the Refresh button in the upper left hand corner of the main screen.

We also fixed the low-resolution fake low-battery screen bug. Now, your low-battery screen will look exactly like your screen grab.

I have to admit that I was hesitant at first, but just a couple of hours ago I bought this app. It is really fantastic. As I do not have that much time momentary I embedded just the ESP test using iframe on one site of my website (if you like to see it, look at "kontakt" at http://www.gedankenmagier.de ).Using iframe is a clever idea, thanks Greg. And the good news for German users is: it works flawless here under Safari, IE 10, Firefox 21 a. s. o. on all devices, laptops and also PCs. Great job, Greg ! Jan
