Just a quick tip I have used: you can add 0's at the end of a code to space out the time before you get before your next repeat. With the way I have mine set up, this helped me out a lot in not getting the repeat confused with the other part of the code.

Hi guys,
I have been working out a better way for those of you who would like to embedded albums on your own site. Apparently our initial idea of using iframes has problems on the iphone, using <object> tags also have some issues. With this new approach I would give you an html file (say album.html) that you place on your site say at http://mymagic.com/album.html Then from your main page you create a hyperlink to album?id=x-y (where x-y would be the id of the album you want to link to (ie the same numbers shown in the short url). With this approach the album page url points to your our domain but everything else works as before. I have tested this approach locally and it seems to work perfectly but I would like to test it on other people to make sure it is not going to cause problems. Would any of you like to try it out? If so send me an email at haninaguib at gmail.com. You will need to know how to upload the file I send you to your site and know how to create the link to it from another page on your site. NOTE that after the test is complete and I make the changes permanent you will need to modify this HTML page to point to the live version as opposed to the test version. |

I also checked the android developer console and it says it is compatible with the nexus 7. What region/language are you at? The only issue with tablets is their size, where do you plan to hide it? |

Wonderful! Following your instructions I could easily embed 3 tests (3 albums/galleries) on my website. And it is working beautifully on all mobile devices, PCs and laptops. The ids are hidden as well. You could see it here (just click on the bottom of the site on "ESP-Test" or "Bilder-Test" or "Karten-Test") and you see it: http://www.gedankenmagier.de/kontakt.html

Thanks to Hani's new code if you want to do a star sign gallery you can use my URL if you don't have your own site and want to use a URL consistent with astrology.
http://astrology.x10.bz/article.html?id=38-2 Or http://astrology.x10.bz/album.html?id=38-2 You will need to change the 38-2 to your own album id of course. You can see my wip gallery if it helps, the first image will be a bit of blurb about star signs, then 12 star sign images with brief readings. Then some blurb about numerology and how to create a birth number followed by the numbers with brief readings. Whether I'm going to just do 1-9 or all 74 possible birth numbers is yet to be decided. I found my solution: as soon as my display Goes black, my samsung loses count. So I set it on max. Display time. Are you exiting out of the app after entering the monitoring phase? If not the app should automatically disable the screen timeout. If you do exit it, than yes a screen turning off will cause problems, since it also disables the apps netwok connectivity. |

If I exited, it was not on purpose. So I don't really know.
I will pay attention not to exit. Thanks!

This happens to me but not all the time, most times the screen stays active, but it has on the odd occasion gone black.

Here's an idea I'm playing with, it's not quite complete but it is almost there.
First use tele-foto astrology and numerology blogs to do a star sign reveal and a short reading, thanks to isobellas star you now have their exact birthday but you don't reveal it. You then have them select a word from a book (using booked or hoy or any other book test that allows you to f***e a specific word). A card is then selected (f****d). This is where Bob Cassidy's Chronologue comes in! You hand them a diary and they see that every day has a different word of the day and a different card of the day. You then ask them to look up their birthday and low and behold the word of the day and card of the day match. You could also take it further, before handing them the diary get them to use free association to change the word from the book to a completely new word that exists only in their head (Atlas Brookings Real Thing) and also use Michael Murrays springboard principle to have them change their card to a different one. With some careful choice of the word selection for the final coincidence you could deal cards to spell the thought of word and the next card is their thought of card. I realise that you need to be familiar with those effects for that to make sense but obviously I can't go into details about the methods as those are all published or marketed effects. Mark |

I would also like to hear some ideas on using this as a thum**r... I'm sure that idea has crossed the devious minds of some here at the Café
This would make a hell of a two person system at a show.

Actually why just two? Since multiple people can transmit at the same time? Scary

Hi saysold1,
You can actually have multiple receivers. If you have multiple transmitters, then only the last guy that opened the album will be received. When it comes to using teleFoto as a thum**r . . . all I can say is, stay tuned . . . Greg |
