Thank you , I have seen your post above and done likewise. Smile

For someone who has got over 100 likes - wow - you must be doing something right - Do you get a lot of enquiries through Facebook and if so what, in your opinion, is the best way to get these potential bookers.

Stuart.

What a lot of professionals need to be aware of is that if you're going to use a Facebook fan page to market your services, it shouldn't be used as popularity contest. "Likes" only mean $$$ if you can covert them into paying customers. The average Facebook customer (as of April 2013) is worth $174 and that number is steadily rising. The average number of Facebook friends is (again, as of April 2013) is 303. 18-24 year olds have an average of 510 friends!

With so many people b*thch*ng and moaning about having to pay for posts or buy into ads, they are missing the boat. Instead of looking for other avenues of staying relevant in their fans news feeds, most give up and swear not to even try Facebook as a way to market themselves. What most fail to realize is that there are several ways to capitalize using FB as a GREAT tool.

I also see several people on here that utilize their cover image and profile image COMPLETELY wrong as well. Your cover image is the largest piece of real estate your fans (current or potential) see! Let it speak VOLUMES about your business! If you're a kid's entertainer, put the best laugh on there. If you are a pizzeria, put a beautiful slice of hot pizza with melting stringy cheese, not just a picture of your building. See where I'm going?

Also, the profile image should be able to be recognized within a glance. That's the one thing people see in their news feeds is your profile image. A very tiny picture so make sure it has something easily recognizable. If you visit Dan Garret's "Dr. Conundrum's 'Cabaret of Miracles'" page for example ---> https://www.facebook.com/DrConundrumsCabaretOfMiracles, you'll see that the profile image is of a rubber duck. Why? Because not only is it a focal point within the show itself, but also because it's a familiar and memorable icon. Now, when people see a rubber duck they think of Dr. Conundrum's show.

Ticket Sales

Here's another example of how I helped a comedy club sell tickets through the power of FB -----> https://www.facebook.com/theorlandocomed......36552678

Notice how there are several calls to action once you hit the landing page? Sharing is not only caring but also will help populate news feeds and increase your impressions Smile And guess what...it doesn't cost a DIME to share a page.

So, if you're wanting to build a business on FB and want to know the RIGHT moves to make, shoot me a PM and I can explain better what I do and how you'll see a difference in your numbers but overall, your business!
