Just 2 simple questions:
1. where I can buy 8 inches red sponge balls...I searched many shops but max were 6-7 inches and often gimmick sponge, I just need a regular sponge but big 2. I liked this routine for kids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIlvXaxDh8I do you know where I can buy book/dvd where that routine is explained? Thank you |

They do not make sponge balls that large, but you already knew that. You might check toy stores for the sponge balls, but they do not compress very easily.
The trick is a re-make of the Harrison Silk Blow without the wood stand tie dyed silk, but a small streamer instead. The trick is obsolete, no one make the necessary gimmicks any longer. It is explained in the Don Lawton book, Lots of Lawton, published by Magic Inc. http://www.magicinc.net/lotsoflawton.aspx Here is the guys website and email, you can ask him if he will tell you if this is the a version of the Harrison Silk Blow. http://www.vancouvermagic.com/family/contact.htm |

Trixie Bond a Houston, Texas magician was making and selling the Silk Blow trick some years back. I don't know if she still is. You'll have to email her and ask. She included it in her act and lectures.
It has been discussed here on the Café' at least once (including Trixie making them). Trixie@trixiebond.com
