The letter indicated the manufacturer. So 260B's are Betalatex, while 260Qs are Qualatex.
There are differences between the two, and twisters tend to have their preference. To me it seems that Qualatex is more popular in the US, while Betalatex is a little more popular in the UK (this is just my perception based on forums and such, and I could be way off). Good luck, Matt

While both are 260's, I believe the Betalatex inflate slightly longer. Both seem to offer good quality but understandably the colors tones between B's & Q's are different.

I haven't tried Betalatex, but based on what people say, the quality tends to be better (less popping) with Qualatex. That said, someone recently did a test of Qualatex balloons on Balloon Twister Central (Facebook group) and found that Qualatex balloons inflate to different lengths depending on their colors, and are always less than a full 60 inches. People suggested that Betalatex balloons were far more consistent and actually reach 60 inches, though no one tested it. So if you find yourself following along with someone's video and never having enough balloon left over, you're probably using a Qualatex balloon.

I ordered a bag of Qualatex from the well known auction site. Today I'm gonna go pick up another bag at the magic store along with a pump. I was going to order from MadHatter after watching the first organization video from Christopher Lyle but the shipping was really expensive. Maybe when I have a bigger order it'll work out. thank you guys for the input! db

I'm a UK man and it's Qualtex for me all day long.

I use Sempterex ahead of Qualatex, because the size is always consistent, and the balloons are slightly longer. Just all around a little better - and I prefer the colours.

Just to be clear for my fellow Yanks, Semptertex is what Betalatex is called across the pond. Anyone know why that is?
