Will any of your apps work with a smartwatch that's not Android wear?
For example: https://amzn.com/B012V0DR6A Thanks Greg! I really like TeleFoto! |

Hi cuffedout,
At the present time, only Inject supports any smartwatch. If the smartwatch that you're asking about supports local notifications (which it most likely does), then it will work with Inject. On Android, we have successfully tested Inject with Pebble and Android wear. On iOS, we have successfully tested Inject with Pebble and Apple Watch. all the best, G Ro |

Almost all my Inject customers tell me I should RAISE the price of Inject. The next version of Inject will be such a big upgrade that most likely I'll raise the price from $49.99 to $???? G Ro |

Using inject, will it also thump to the Android Wear device as well as display the image? 2. Could I use the Android Wear watch as the transmitter (instead of an accomplice, or my phone)? 3. Could my phone be used as a transmitter and my watch be used as a receiver (without the need for wi-fi)? I am about to perform at a big camp in the middle of nowhere and there isn't cell phone service. I could at least do some tricks using it as a thumper. Thank you for your reply! |

Hi Mr. E. Casey,
Thank you for your interest in Inject. 1. Inject will display text on your smartwatch that tells you which image they are looking at. 2. You can not use Android Wear (or any other smartwatch) to transmit. You must either use your phone or an accomplice. Using a watch as a transmitter is very suspicious ... it means you need to touch your watch in the middle of your routine. Even if you use the accelerometer, it's a LOT of work for something you could have done by swiping. In contrast, transmitting from your pocket (by either swiping in your pocket or through your pants) is invisible. Also, Inject supports small bluetooth arrow keyboards (like the AirTurn Digit II). Hanging these devices under your armpit is a LOT more invisible than touching your smartwatch. 3. You can not use Inject without internet access ... even if you could, you wouldn't want to. The WHOLE point of Inject is you are using THEIR device ... your spectator thinks you have NOTHING. Using your own device SCREAMS "magic app". As much as I think the smartwatch support in Inject is cool, I will NEVER use it ... A smartwatch is another gadget that I have to worry about and the fact that it's clearly visible to spectators, IMO, telegraphs the method. The beauty of Inject is, as long as you have your phone (in your pocket) you can do MIRACLES!! You don't need anything else. I hope that helps, Greg Rostami |

I still can't get SupaThump to thump and image...and it doesn't seem to be in the manual anymore. Any pointers on being able to thump an image to a spectator's phone? Thanks again! |

If you clip it to the inside of your jacket you can peek while you take out your notepad and/or sharpie. Or you could hide it in a stack of businesscards. (remove the straps ) |

Hi Greg,
I made use of your special (thanks for the offer), but it seems the longer vibration codes do not work on my android. Would there be any fix in the works or should I think of a way to code my album with just 0's and 1's? Kind regards, Sander |

Hi Sander,
Please code everything with 1's and 0's for now. There's been a big change in our development environment which is making it difficult to update teleFoto for Android. Hani is looking into fixing it now. Greg |

I will PM you about sending photos using Supa Thump. Hi otreboR. You are correct. You can use a smartwatch hidden in a stack of business cards or in your jacket. I have my phone always in my left jeans pocket ... I turn away from the spectators as they type on their phone. I get a buzz, I tilt my phone about 2 inches out of my pocket and take a peek. I've never been caught. Hi Sander, Please code everything with 1's and 0's for now. As you know, the standard 1 and 0 vibration codes work fine. Greg P.S. Sorry for the double post! |

Hi Greg. I went to purchase the TeleFoto app, and it was listed at the special half price offer through today. However, about an hour later, I went back and the price went up already. Is it possible to get the app at the special price through the end of the day? Thanks, Brandon.

Hi Brandon,
I will drop the price again for you until this time tomorrow. Please give iTunes and the Google Play store a few hours to reflect the lower price. Here's another performance of teleFoto from Magic Live 2013: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRNcG_u7......t=10m42s Greg |

I know I've already asked Greg about this last year. But is there still going to be an update that allows us to peek the photos through a pebble watch/smart watch?

Or better yet, fix the Android version that has not worked properly for 16 MONTHS now.

Hi Lonnie,
Inject now has a feature that allows web albums to be monitored from a smartwatch. Hi Fligmupple, Fixing the long and short vibration codes in the Android version of teleFoto means using a new compiler that also means LOTS of problems that we don't have the resources for. If both of my programers worked for me full time, then this wouldn't be an issue, but I'm afraid with very limited resources, I have to prioritize which fires we must put out first. As you know, the vibration codes work on Android ... what doesn't work is the short and long ones. This only effects the Android version of teleFoto. The iOS version of teleFoto has NEVER had short and long vibration codes. I'm very sorry if it hasn't been a priority, but it will be fixed. No matter what happens, at some point, we must bite the bullet and re-write teleFoto on Android using the new compiler. Greg |
