Hi all,

Someone gave me a coupon for a free printed t-shirt from their shop for my business. Do any of you have any experience with this?

I'm wondering what things, if any, I should put on it. I can either come up with something myself or get with her designer and come up with something, but since I'm new to marketing myself I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I was thinking maybe a digital photo of my business card on the front since it has my contact information and something catchy on the back like: Magic is a Vanishing Art...

I probably would never wear this for shows unless I was doing street magic or busking- I'd probably just wear it around town and make sure to entertain people while wearing it- cashiers, random nice looking people, etc. I realize I may never get one show from wearing it, but it's a great gesture on her part and I'd like your advice as to how to best take advantage of it.

What do you guys think?

Thanks ahead,

Ted-

I just realized I could fit a prediction card into it somehow. Any ideas?

Well, when I was doing street magic I wore a black t-shirt that had a picture of a tux top printed on it in white.
But you can probably get those pre-printed still.

Chris Cox has quite a nice way of using a T-shirt for a prediction routine here (starting at around 2:10):

I imagine that there are lots of ways to adapt this sort of reveal to a street magic set up.

The funniest thing was his web address.

How about a World Tour t-shirt. On the front you can have: Name Here World Tour. On the back you can make up some tour dates: Mystic Falls 2/27, Sin City 3/14, etc., ect. Have some fun with it.

Horatio, you're right , it doesn't just have to be card reveals.

These are all great ideas. Even the tux shirt you could get things printed on!

Thanks! Keep em coming! Smile

Different ways to hide the prediction on the T-shirt:
- on the back
- on the front as the first letter of each word (to claim to have influenced them, perhaps)
- next to the sleeve, so you can look in your jacket pocket for something and there it is (could have one on each side)
- AT the very bottom, so you can just untuck your T-shirt at the end ("I've got a feeling in my belly that I just know what it is...")
- on the label at the back of the neck

If you went for 5 of them, you could safely predict which of 5 cards/items they would pick.

That one at the bottom would definitely get some belly laughs!

How about a tree of hearts shirt? That might be fun.
