Have you posted this in the Juggling Items For Sale forum? You might have better luck.

Also Facebook has quite a few 2nd-hand props groups you can join. I'm only a member of UK specific groups, but I'm sure there's US alternatives.

That said, Dubé's plastic spinning plates are only $6 each. So just $30 for the 5 you require. I can't imagin that buying 2nd-hand plates will save you much, especially after postage etc... has been added.

Yes, I was wondering about the economics of this too. Is there another reason they should be used apart from cost saving?

No cost saving was the only reason for used ones... I did not know they were that cheap new...However I thought I might be able to trade something for them or pay.

Hey Mike
Those plates are dirt cheap, and if you buy them without sticks you can save a few bucks. It is good to see you price shopping. I believe that serious juggling will sell you the plates with out sticks for $5 each.

Hey Mike, I have some old aluminum ones that I'll be posting as soon as I have time to dig them out. They are a little beat up but they can be painted. I'll post them to this group.

Hey Shomemagic,
I´ve got 12 really good old porcellan plates,
...sleight signs of use,
I´d be willing to part with.
You´ll have to take ALL 12, though,
because I haven´t taken the time
to sort out all of their pieces from another.

One box.
12 Plates.
8,042 pieces.
I´m willing to throw in a bottle of Elmers.
,let me know.
