Ideally this would suit a publisher that doesn't have one. (magictao has two) (magic makers have 3 or more)
Okay, so it's an over saturated market as far as this kind of thing is concerned. However, I feel it stands high compared to others for sooo many reasons. If it brings something new and worthwhile to the table, there's room for more! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msfx8gf98VI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoufXN0Nv8U The notes can be fully examined and passed out. This can be done borrowed. Different size notes can be used. It has an instant reset. It has real world workable angles. I have had offers for downloads and dvds and am in talks, but I'm not sure if I'm getting a reasonable deal, I'm not even sure if I want to release it anymore after all. Any advice/comments/feedback/questions? This is the right place (any lines crossed here?)

Thanks Dimitri, I'm glad you did.
I do regret posting a bit, so I'm putting those clips onto private for the moment. So there are arguments about releasing another product into an oversaturated market. There's also arguments for and against downloads or dvd's (or royalties vs selling the rights). It seems that the download option give the creator more ownership of the product (royalties) rather than selling the rights for a DVD release. Although I've never paid for a download in my life, apparently it's a rapidly growing market (I've never used an ipod before, or owned a tablet, so perhaps I'm behind in the times).

It did not look smooth to me. It did not flow . It looked like you were unfolding something from the bill. I am not saying that is the method. Also putting your hand in front of the bill fingers all pressed togeather did not seem to be justified and suspicious from the viewers point of view. Just my opinion.

That's fine. I'm sure most people would find critism with the usual 16th tt switch as well.
In fact I'm sure that most people can find plenty to critique in any bill switch. Hopefully you'll agree that it is something different (I have my credits). I am always cleaning up things about it (especially the set up) and trying to make it look more natural. Any positives Mr Watson, in your opinion, or just all negatives?

I do like how much of the bill is shown. No folding up into small packet is seen.It is something different. I commend you with coming up with something new. I ment my post to be honest and constructive.

Poster's regret.
It is just another bill switch and c**p is relative. Thanks for the good comments and thanks for the brief slap (needed that). Just excited because I came up with something that looks fairly original. Well, I'm going to smooth it out and get some more demo's together and then let it loose another time. Peace.

Well, I'm still working it:
Here's a newer clip taken by my son (excuse the shakyness) http://youtu.be/HZhND_RD4KY Actually, I've had 5 yes's by various companies. Some DVD offers and some Download offers (all from European companies)(there's a travel logistic issue for US production companies). You know, I not sure that this is even worth releasing (I'm also under the impression that UK companies don't offer as much as others across the pond). I was after a DVD offer with a Royalties, but most of the Royalties offers were for download only deals. I'm thinking of not pushing this to be published and just to carry on using it and improving it. And yes I still regret the title of this thread. (even though my switch ticks more boxes than recent releases, I'm sorry but if there's no instant reset then is a X for me, also the first thing a spectator thinks is "does the bill come apart or is it gimmicked?" and I have been told this and I like them to look very close and confirm that it isn't the case, so gimmicked bills another X.)

Keep working on it....it looks great. The change is instant and visible, the hands are clean, the necessarily fiddly parts are almost invisible...this one is very good.
Knowing nothing about it all, I'd advise to go with the distributor who'll sell the most units...that'll help set up a fan base for your next release. Good moves. "The notes can be fully examined and passed out. This can be done borrowed. Different size notes can be used. It has an instant reset. It has real world workable angles." These 5 features make it gold. I'd add this to my show in an instant. Keep us posted, if you will.

Well, I kind of decided not to release it. I actually pulled out of filming.
There are a couple of significant problems with the switch. One, it's very difficult & two, the borrowed bill needs to be relatively fresh (there is an alternative route to take with the same set up with an older bill however). On a positive note, I did have 4 switches in total that I wanted to include (one of which was my handling of the Vlado Switch, as the difficulty level of the actual "Moby Dick" switch was quite high.) So, it's on the back burner for the while.
