For those that might entertain a slightly more artsy crowd, I have posted up some jpegs that utilies pablo neruda poems in with TPR...though this can obviously be adapted to fit any clientele/brief...

song lyrics, poems, short stories, quotes, promos...the images are at a high enough dpi for you to get these made up into little pads if you find that easier...

A great idea Iain - I like the Dada flavour of TPR poetry readings - very nice . I would also recommend Rumi and perhaps Poe for darker sets!

I've been asked to provide an hour's worth of readings at a house-party tomorrow, so I bought a small stack of poetry books from a charity shop and spent this afternoon trimming pages and glueing them onto thin index card stock...they are currently being flattened out by some very heavy books...but they look odd and pretty at the same time...

see how they go down tomorrow...i've been promised that some will be bringing along photos they wish to "offer up" too...so should be fun...and they have a nice big garden too...

For those of you who are thinking TPR isn't for you because "you don't do Readings" who might be interested to hear that lately I've been using TPR for a comic routine.
It's fun for situations where you are looking for something lighter in tone but heavy in amazement.

Speaking of Halloween...

The infinitely adaptable TPR will be taking on the mourning crepe as we head to the end of the month.
For those of you who have it, you'll understand what I mean when I say I use a silver sharpie and a black piece of paper to get at the darker corners of a person's soul... fears, sins, and forms of death can all be revealed during this holiday season!
