That all depends on your interest.

if you are into card magic, go with Aftercraft the material there can occupy you for years.
the classic magic of jennings has indeed classics and considered by some as a must have.
7 deceptions is more advanced book with stress on mentalism.

I do not own but heard very good things on the magic of nick trost (I own a few booklets by him) if the material in that book is half as good as those booklets it is a must buy.

The Nick Trost book contains some good effects that don't employ difficult sleights. If that is what you are after, then go with that book. If you are after a book that is a little more sleight heavy, go with the Jennings book.

Ditto. I'm in the exact same boat. I own the Jennings and Hamman books and am very happy with both.

Bro John Hamman and the 2 Ken Krenzel's books are all teriffic books, allthough the Hamman book can be hard to get by.
These books are a must if you are heavy into cardmagic.

I highly recommend the Nick Trost book. I have many magic books in my library and find myself perusing the Trost book time and time again. The book contains many sleepers. Get it and you definitely will not regret it.

The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......

Two copies of the highly touted "Secrets of Bro. John Hamman" are available on abebooks.com right now. Two weeks ago there were 6 copies so I imagine that these go pretty fast... Just giving you a heads up just in case you did indeed want to buy it. http://www.magicauction.com, I believe, has a used copy of the Jennings book. I've heard great things about Jennings and Hamman and those are the ones that I am looking into getting in the near future. Hope you make the decision that will offer you the most utility.
