I have done Whit Hayden's routine for the past 33 years. Wow, I just counted that on my fingers. That's a long time. It's the sweetest street routine for the rings I have found. Whit (Pop) honed the routine on the streets of New York and blessed the magic community with the manuscript in the mid 70's. It involves a spectator and gives them the credit and applause and has built in comedy the KILLS every time.

On second thought, don't use it. It's just that great!

Fantastic Routine - Great for the outdoors. Never fails. And funny!

10 to 20 rings routines seem to be in Vogue at the moment ,
but they have to be at least 4 inches in diameter to be seen.

There are benefits of having more rings... you get to hand more out, stop more people, play bigger, make more jokes, do more bits.

I did capehart's routine in this kind of setting for several years and really liked it. I made very few modifications to the routine.
The most important to me was to keep the extra ring worn around my neck. I like the utilitarian look and I hated having a ring on my shoulder.

In the end, however, I went with a version of Shoot Ogawa's routine with larger rings. I did a non-table close-up version of the ninja rings for so many years that
I just adopted it for larger rings when needed. Now I basically do the same routine no matter where I perform or what size rings I use. Hand Crafted Magic
