Has anyone noticed the new slideshow format Google has gone to? For instance, google magicians and "city" and you will find a slideshow of magicians on the very top. Some do not even show a image, rather just a map with a pin for location instead. I am unsure how this will go over for clients but never saw it coming either just when my SEO has been drastically improved.

I see new people. I see myself in places that were not there before, and it just shows to go you that if you put all of your eggs in the google basket you may not get a good return on your investment.

Oh no! Okay, best back on topic then. Well sort of.
Anyone notice that Google changes not monthly, or weekly but almost on a daily basis? I mean you google in Chicago where Matthew is first page then the next day he disappears? Not just Matthew but basically anyone for that matter.

Google collects your IP data and knows your location. It offers information based on your searches and browsing habits. Results vary for different surfers. They are becoming much more interactive with the searcher, which means old methods of SEO are just that - old.

Yes, it's quite difficult to do SEO now. On my laptop I might be pleased to see my rank in the top three. On another machine I might not even be on page one. It's extremely difficult to know where you stand these days.
