The best was definitely Richard Osterlind's Mind Mysteries Vol 1

BEST: De'vo's Cradle to Grave! Just mindblowing. The teaching, the moves, the music, the effects. It all left me numb and wanting to watch it over and over again.
WORST: Lee Asher's Hit the Road DVD. I didn't like the effects, the teaching, or the quality of the film. The boring talking all the time and the menu selection quirks were horrible. Brian Tudor's Gen-X is a close second on the Worst. The teaching was enough to make me hurl. Cardjinx |

Best: Scams and Fantasies with Cards or Revolutionary Card Technique (not DVD's but oh well)
Worst: School of Hard Knocks DVD ( I got suckered into buying that from good marketing ploys!)
Who is John Galt?

I know this will sound strange, but in the category of "best single trick DVD", I have to give the nod to Color Fusion. Very well done and detailed. The trick is probably one of the most stunning tricks I have ever seen. No one will ever take the time to make up the necessary things to make it work, but it is still super cool and for those will spare time, is a quality investment.

Hardknocks is pretty bad as other posts have outlined earlier in the year v disappointed with this. The only thing that took a hard knock is my wallet.

I was fortunate to finally see Osterlind's DVDs (vol.1 and vol. 4) and all I can say is WOW! Definitely right up there with my Tommy Wonder and Bill Malone DVDs.

Best for me has to be David Regal's new DVD set. Good stuff.

So far for me this year it has been Malone's "On the Loose" and Devo's "Cradle to Grave" as my favorites. Haven't really purchased anything else. Hopefully, I will be able to add to the list on Dec. 26!

The Best:
Bill Malone David Regal Richard Osterlind The Worse: Michael Ammar - Business Card Magic - Pretty poor magic and pretty bad presentation. Very disappointing from Ammar. I hope his ETM Card Magic 7 - 9 is better. |

For me the BEST DVDS would have to be OSTERLIND's. I found myself gasping and thouroughly enjoying myself during the watching of the presentations.
Secondly, I would have to say that BILL Malone's DVDs had me laughing and jumping up and down. lol. The excitement caused by watching these was amazing. I don't really have a worst DVD but if I think of one ILL let you know |

For the coin guys or the aspiring coin guys....
the world just opened up like no time before with Curtis Kam's and Reed McClintock's couple of disks I see coin magic elevated 100 fold as a result of their offerings, I see guys practicing again and challenging their abilities...but lo it is close up work so their efforts will quietly take hold slowly in the months to come Marty |

Bill Malone's set "On The Loose", was released prior to 2003.
It's really the best of 2002.
