They have these cool cases at Hobby Lobby. They don't lock, but they do latch. They're made of wood with leather trim and cost 25 bucks. They come in a few different colors and sizes. Thought I'd snap a pic and share. You could easily line with foam and use these for an attractive close up case.

Great idea, I have some of these. The hobby lobby where I live often has them on sale anywhere from 25-50% off!

If I hadn't just bought a case from Harbor Freight I'd get one of these. Maybe later.
Do you use them for magic Brian?

Here's another option. It is a bit larger, and more expensive.

They also have a small version (better suited for Table Hopping) here:

Those are nice too and the tops are flat for a mat if you choose.

Those are great! My wife does hair and make up for weddings, prom, and all that jazz. She has a black case she uses to hold all of her hair and make up junk. One day I was headed out for some strolling magic at a sweet sixteen a friend of mine and I were hired for. She had a novel idea instead of having my pockets full all night, she took all of my props I had laid out for the evening and put it in her "caboodle" I found it to be quite nice. So I've commandeered it. Now it lives in the magic room until she needs it. I'll attach a photo. Preston, how did you embed that picture in your post?

I went to this site that I stumbled upon while looking for a solution to posting pictures here at the Café: http://www.pixentral.com/
It's free. You don't need to have an account. You just upload and send and then copy the link called Forum and paste it in your post. Hope that helps. I like the makeup case idea too. I was looking into those as well. I ended up with a Harbor Freight case that works well. I carry my mat in it and can lay it flat on top. It holds lots of stuff so I can practice when I'm at work at my overnight job, sitting at a desk doing nothing.
