I am a teenager, and I am going to America in October, for my uncles wedding (I am from the UK) and was wondering if someone could help me find a/a few good ring tricks. I would like it if they are reasonable cheap, and I can get them in the UK. I will use them at the wedding, and I will use it other times aswell, so I would like it if I could do it with a borrowed ring.

I would also like if the tricks are not Too hard, but I can manage some sleight of hand

Thanks in advanced

~Matt

I believe Vinny Marini "the Godfather" has a few downloads on his web site that you might like.

For $10 each from Columbini his "Ring Around" and "Ring Around Two" are well worth the investment.

Matt,
I know you are looking for ring routine, but Aniversary Waltz (card routine) is the perfect trick for a wedding. Check out Doc Eason. It is easy to learn and your uncle will very much appreciate it.

These are great suggestions, but I would like to throw in a word of caution; have insurance or only use plain bands. The last thing you want is to borrow someone's ring and have the diamond fly off and lose it. Either way, have fun and good luck!

Don't leave out Diamond Jim Tyler's Collateral. This is a strong effect with a well thought out ending.

I wouldn't try it with the wedding band if she/he just put it on. It won't be easy to get it off their fingers!!

Borrowed ring effects are great though and good to learn. As mentioned though a great centered trick for the bride/groom think anniversary waltz. Doc Eason's is my favorite of the bunch.

There is a bunch of great Ring Magic. Bowers is right- Ring Leader is fantastic by Gregory Wilson.
The Ring Thing by Garrett Thomas is a great move to have.
I like Band-it by Chris Nevel. A nice ring and rubber band routine. Similiar to Pinnacle but I like it better. Great Impromtu magic.

Gregory Wilson = On the Spot covered a bit of Garrett Thomas's Ring Thing. Greg had a fun take when doing the move using a nickle. Its pretty fun - you should check it out.

Larry Jennings had a ring trick on his Jaw Droppers dvd using a borrowed ring and a rubber band (can be borrowed too). Using your mental powers, you can make the ring travel upwards along the rubber band. Fantastic little trick. Easy to do. Totally imptromptu.
