The Mobile Magic Shop was in my area today, and it was absolutely fantastic (if slightly crowded). I purchased a pair of D'lites, a TT, and a silk. Upon finding out I was a beginning magician, Emory offered me a free book or DVD! On the recommendation of a magician there who was a part of the local magic club, I got Paul Harris' The Art of Astonishment.
I've even already had some fun disappearing silk for my little sister (who is rather freaked out by magic, or at least pretends to be). |

You made a good choice. The Art of Astonishment won't steer you wrong.

Cool! Emory senior and junior are both really nice. They also just got their small stand going out in Vail, AZ. They are only open on the weekends for a few hours though so if you're in Tucson check their Williams Magic website to make sure they're open.
Performing magic unprofessionally since 2008!

Emory Junior actually reminds me quite a bit of my boss in voice, appearance, and bearing... It was rather disconcerting.

I've had some private lessons from Emory Jr. Very good teacher. He can assess a skill level and steer you to appropriate things.
I first saw the Mobile Magic Shop as he was on his way back from some events in California and stopped off in Yuma for a few moment's rest. He gave me a call to let me know he was here and gave me the grand tour when I got there. Quite an impressive rig. Ed |

He has come to our club meetings in Huntsville AL twice. I always look forward to him coming. Emory is very helpful and gives you good advice on what is good and what is not.
