Hi my friends,im guillermo from spain,im very happy, and I like to share with yours my first times busking here in spain. I'm a professional magician but now in spain like in the world,we have hard times in economy, the people don't have works, and the money dissapier.... I have not much shows now,and I think to go out there...
I'm studing busker here in the Café and jimmytalkalot blog, and other, books dvds....a long time, and the past friday I went out there. what a wonderfull experience, I enjoyed very much ,and I make money (much better).
only worked 3 hours, my wife were with mine ,and she said me "come home nowwwwww!!" you can understand me. But anyway I did 4 shows.

First for the crowd the children come to me ,i had nothing, only shuffle the deck. I said the children clap very hard and the people come to me ...
and then start the show:
My sponge ball routine
My rope rutine
A card trasposition very cool
And the final a card stab ,spectator stab the selected card for any woman(very strong routine)
I did very hat lines in the show . I have learn the rules:
GET STOP
GET STAY
GET PAY
I only did 50 euros in 3 hours, but I'm happy ,and this summer I will come back out there many times I can.

P.s. excuse my english,im spanih (nobody is perfect ha ha ha)

Hi guillermo
I love Spain and my mother is Spanish so perhaps I am biased!
I lived and traveled Spain with my wife Lady Vee for five years.
I know first hand Spain is tough now but their is hope and possible to perform in many places.
The season is hear now, I found Malaga to be OK Estapona also.
As you know Spain is a big country!
We traveled for three seasons with a Medeval traveling Festavel.
Diffrent place each weekend some better than others.
If you can think out side the box and be creative in your work I am sure you will rise and Spain with you.
Keep on keeping on.

G'day Guillermo

Congratulations for getting out there and having a go.

50 Euros sounds pretty good for your first busking experience especialy when the money in your country is tight.

Well done and thanks for sharing as you are an inspiration.

And thanks to google translate:

Hello Guillermo

Felicidades por salir y tener un ir.

50 Euros suena muy bueno para su primera experiencia de música callejera especialy cuando el dinero es escaso en su país.

Bien hecho y gracias por compartir como eres una inspiración.

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Guillermo...

Quick question: do you pass your hat BEFORE or AFTER the final trick?
I know some people in Spain who do either (and BOTH) so it might be worth playing with.

Hi my friend, I pass the hat AFTER the show, but I'm thinking to try other ways. I saw a cuban magician in madrid and is very interesting,he put a hat in yhr middle of the "stage", and he start the show, and he say very much hat lines, and he self put coins in the hat, is a very funny guy,and BEFORE of the final trick he say "for the final trick I need 20 coins in my hat camon" and when the people put the money he does the final,he is hilarius, I will try other ways of hatting.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFvYDdWkLd0 one performance of him (not me ha ha ha) if you don't understand him he is very hilarius man, watch the hat........
