I've been playing with the Binary Think-a-Card trick on Simon Aronson's website, and I tweaked a few things. First, the size of each card was too big, and second, the boxes for the missing cards were blackened out, which isn't ink/printer friendly. So, I edited the images to be smaller, to fit either a normal playing card or to fit on an index card. Second, I removed each black box and replaced them with a simple X.

If I glue the playing card size to a few cards, I can carry this in my wallet for a simple quick trick.

If anyone's interested in these files, PM me with your email and I'll be glad to send them to you. Be sure to let me know if you want the playing card size or the index card size or both.

That being said, It occurred to me that I could easily convert this effect to work for the Tamariz stack. I'm in college right now and the semester doesn't start for a few more weeks; I have the time, lol. If anyone's interested, post something to let me know. It'll take an hour or so, so I'd like to at least know ONE person would like to have this done before I bother. If there's a different mem deck you'd prefer, let me know.

I just figured It'd be a nice thanks to everyone for helping me with my questions lately.

I would. But get a few responses before investing the time.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have had the same application of the binary system for a thought of card for a while. I am in the process of eliminating the charts and just using a deck to get to the thought of card. Here are a few thoughts to ponder:

1. gimmicked deck with different indexes that can be spread 4 different ways (2 spreads on each side) to show "4 charts"
2. Using a face up / face down shuffled deck as an organic means as to why they aren't seeing the whole deck when you are fishing for a "chart"
3. Eliminating the "1 Chart" as the thought of card will now be one of 2 cards that are next to each other in the stack (top card and bottom card)
4. Eliminating a complete choice of 52 cards and reducing it to 31 (or less) to eliminate another spread (chart) and fishing question. This can be done with a spread and asking the spec to think of any card that they see.
5. Figuring out a way to shuffle a deck from chart to chart to eliminate weird paper charts.

While disappointed that this concept has been published, I look forward to hearing more people's thoughts on applying the principle.
