Is there a way to keep the shine on balloons. I want to send my mom a bouquet but I don't want them to be dull when they get there. Hmmmm I wonder if going from a mile high to sea level will effect it too? Anyone?

They don't loose their shine, they gain a "velvet finish" according to one of the balloon manufactures. Smile

Losing shine seems very connected to heat. That is often hard to control when mailing.

You could try putting it in a garbage bag and tie it closed before you mail it. That will help some. The balloons are going to oxidize at some point, but that might help slow it down a little.

(Sheesh that's long!)

Didn't read much, but it seems mostly about helium filled balloons
