These seem like a good price for what you get...

These cost about $90 US, with shipping...

I stopped at thew Three Finger juggling booth at the IJA a few weeks ago. I have the Dube knives, but am always looking for something different/better. TFJ also have hatchets and axes etc.
I played with everything a little and walked away without buying anything - despite a show discount.
I wouldn't say the knives were bad - just not better than the dube's I have so no point in spending the money.
I didn't like the hatchets and axes - I was very disappointing because I really would have liked to get some of those (they look great) and so I really wanted to like them. The poor balance and short handles of these items turned me off - they just felt wrong.

I would like to have a clever, cycle, and ax like Michael Davis uses, but I'm sure they are custom made.

They look lovely.

The Oddballs knives are what I currently use. Although the new design doesn't have the same ring when you scrape the blades together as the old style does.

Roslyn- have you compared the feel of these oddball knives to the Dube knives? Are they similar? The cost savings for these are making me lean toward them, unless they have a significant disadvantage?

I have both the Oddballl knives and the Dube Knives. Both have the same weight. The Oddballs seem easier on the hands because the handles are similar to clubs.
Frankly, I haven't performed them in my shows yet.
I am not yet confident.

To those who juggle knives, when did you start doing them in your shows? I heard somewhere that you need to be able to juggle clubs for at least a minute before starting with the knives. But knives are heavier.

Tony, the expensive shiny Dube Knives do look better though. But they have wooden handles and hurt a bit after a while.
On the other hand, Oddballs also offers them as a set of three and are much cheaper.
