A print broker will be able to help you get the best quality products, and lowest price.

If you're in Canada, I can help you out; I know great sources for both posters, and tickets. However, if you're in the US, you're better off searching for a local print broker.

More info about print brokers here:

Good advice here Sam. Unlike most designers that usually focus on design alone, I have an account with a trade account printer. What most clients do not realize is that they decide to go to a local printer and get a job done but then that printer, alomst 80% of the time outsources the job to the SAME EXACT people I go through and send the job off. Difference? The client winds up paying the local printer about 30-40% more instead of doing a one-stop-shopping deal with me. I'll be the first to admit that my services may be a little more than most designers but on the same note, what you might think you overpay for design work you'll save on the printing on the back-end. End result? You get a killer job designed and delivered at a very reasonable fee. Remember the old expression, "Cheap = Expensive"?

@ mindpro, I actually agree with what you said about using business cards as tickets. The original poster did say he was looking for a low cost option, and this might be as low cost as it gets - cheap enough for a middle schooler Smile

Some online ticketing companies do offer "stock" tickets you can use. You just add text. These can be pretty low cost vs a custom designed color tickets. They are the correct size, and the correct paper stock, as well as the right look.

I am a professional graphic designer and illustrator. I can certainly help you with the design aspect of the poster or any print related media. You can check outsamples of my work at Just finished up 2 banners and a display concept for Kevin James. Was great working with Kevin. As far as printing, there are so many. I like to use

I second . . . As long as you can provide them with high-quality digital files for your projects (and you may need a designer, as mentioned above), they'll provide a very professional, high-quality product. And their turn-around time is great, too. I usually have the product in my hands about 7-10 days after placing an order.
