So, should maps be illustrated/oriented from west to east or east to west, as in top to bottom or bottom to top of the page and north to south as in left to right or right to left of the page? In which case, what would be the orientation of north and south respectively? Left to right or right to left, which would certainly dictate the position of east and west. Your thoughts?
