Dear buyers,
I'm glad to present to you a fantastic idea by the mastermind Peter Turner. It allows you to perform "A Sign of Fate" in an impromptu way in ANY language. Just go to the website, and click on the red button: http://andreumind06.wix.com/a-sign-of-fate The password is on page 34 of the Book, there's an image with a black background. Type the word on this image - in lowercase. If you have any problems logging in, PM me. ___ Thanks a ton Pete for sharing this brilliant idea..! I think it's genius!!! Enjoy everyone, - Andreu. :firedevil: |

Andreu,
Let me first congratulate you for creating and publishing a star sign divination with a different process to the countless branching anagram presentations on the market. (I'm not saying that I don't like BA, BTW. OK?) But (and there's always a 'but') we are rightly suspicious when a creator feels they have something to hide about their routine; i.e. neither a detailed effect description or a performance video. There's too much focus on what this is not rather than what it actually is. My second concern is the ambiguity of this "impromptu" version. It implies that it has all of the benefits of the original and also no printed aids. Turner has refined his Midas Touch, so I am sure this will be golden - but we are forced to read between the lines regarding your product and it is all sorts of shades of grey. I'm not trying to be provocative for sh*ts and giggles, I am trying to do everyone a favour by asking you for more clarity and honesty about your product. I'm sure I am not the only one who is reluctant to pay $40 to a stranger whom seems to have something to hide about their product. I am very keen to buy this, love this, perform this and then rave about it on this thread - but I'm sure I am not the only magic consumer who has been burnt in the past by misleading or ambiguous advertising. Please prove me wrong, Andreu. I genuinely want to be 'wrong' about this! |

My idea is only an additive based on what was already there, it is not a new routine that I have added. All I have done is replaced the card with something else and by replacing it gave a nicer(I felt)justification for the use of the card. It gives it a super impromptu feel and is natural to the situation.
Not saying the original is not. This product is not something I have tested, (Because I have Isabella' star two) but reading it, it seems reliable. I would like to hear anyone's thoughts that has performed this. Pete x |

Hi Pete (and everyone else),
Andreu sent this over to me as well, and upon reading it, I think it is a fairly clever piece of thinking. He credits another very respectable and original thinker with part of the idea, so anyone who is cautious can be assured that this is a well thought out principle. In preparation for my move, all my stuff is packed right now and my last local show is this Sunday, so like you, I haven't had a chance to print anything out or perform this yet. But I'm in agreement, at a glance this looks like it should be pretty good - AND it is a principle that could easily be applied to a number of other ideas...just change what is on the cards. Best, Atlas |

All new effects have been inspired by something previous to a greater or lesser degree.
The trick is to be inspired by a great predecessor rather than an average one. This effect has a great pedigree. With this and his previous effect, Tribal, Andreu has shown himself to be a meticulous thinker. He knows what makes an effect a worker. Add to that Peter's addition and you have a great combo. If I was a person who tweeted I'd have to say ...........Hash Tag, Recommended. Steve |

For $40 most would not take a chance. Impulse pricing is essential here. This is priced as if it was an offering from a proven creator who consistently wowed.
I have horrosecrets. It does this. Not saying this isn't something special. It sounds like most answers here and promotors are not going out on a limb and putting their reputation on the line for this item. Lots of stipulations. Good luck J |

A Sign of Fate can now be performed in an impromptu way (check out the link Pete shared). So, I think $40 is more than fair for a solid method / worker that can be performed in this way.. if they don't want to take the risk, fair enough. People usually buy more expensive stuff which they don't use or leave inside the drawer. Best regards, - Andreu. :firedevil: |

I don't know - everyone today wants to run before they walk.
This was the guy who lol'd David's Clarity Box - figuring out the secret by watching a few times and PM'ing me about it. Like John, I'm not saying that this is good or bad - and I trust Steven Young as one of the coolest guys at the Café... And just because Pete or Atlas are commenting - well, we all know that there is a lot of mutual backscratching in the business (and I am a huge PT fan). Personally I am unlikely to grab this until it percolates out there for awhile. The price seems a little steep for a new creator.

I'm saying for a new creator perhaps an impulse price would suit the item better. Yes horosecrets is more cards but I don't care. My specs don't care. And horo is $20 So for less cards like 2 maybe the price should be $10 (just kidding but making a point!) Peace Bro, John |

"I don't know - everyone today wants to run before they walk". - I agree with this sentiment. I have talked at lengths with Andreu about taking his time to refine, master and then get someone else to try his routine before it should even be considered to be released. He is now understanding he is a brand of sorts and every time he releases something it represents him. I just think Andreu gets a little exitable (Yeah I know that is no excuse) and wants to show the world what he's got. He is a creator/ inventor, openly admitting he is not a massive performer and maybe the reason he releases is to see his work come to light (I may be wrong). Let me address a few thing before people take my words on this out of context. Would I perform this? No BUT I already have my own system (Isabella's star 2) which for me I feel is fully fleshed out routine and I am comfortable with it. I do however think that some people will like this, it all depends on their style of performance. Is it original? No but hardly anything is, the way it is used is different and I know the idea I offered is certainly unique and logical. Do I like it? I don't like props, I like the premise of the idea and the adaptation I made, I might consider testing and filming it (just to see how it plays out in real world environment). I can see this WILL work it's a very simple effect and the method is a solid method. Would this work in a reading environment? It depends on the performer if I am honest, just like most routines. On another thread (which has been deleted) hence this post so people don't misquote me, someone stated about this being obvious. My reply to that is...A P**k is obvious in the wrong hands, done correctly it can be devastatingly good. Also several people said the advert is misleading and there is no effect description let me remedy that (why? Because one, I want to be helpful to everyone here so they know exactly what they are getting and two, I was excitable once and I know what it's like to no help). Effect The performer joins a group which he has never met before that very moment. He starts a conversation and that conversation turns to astrology. The performer explains that all of their lives are mapped out for them in the stars and that even though the stars are thousands of miles away they have a direct effect on their lives. He chooses one female participant in which he will leave a gift. He pulls 'a' beermat from under his drink and writes the star-signs down upon it and hands it to the participant. The performer turns his back and asks her to point to the beer mat and show everyone else her star sign. This ensures that the participant never says anything out loud preventing giving away any clues. The performer turns back around and takes back the beermat and starts to read the female participant. Each time he deduces something about the participant he crosses off a star sign until he is left with just one star sign...The participants! She never writes anything down, everything is set up right underneath the participant's nose in less than 5 seconds and all you need is a pen. ************************************************************************************* Just to touch on one last point, no one is scratching my back and I have not been paid to endorse any products. I will help anybody out (anyone who has messaged me will attest to that) which is also the motto of this place. I don't agree with releasing things for the sake of it and I know in future Andreu will wait. To everyone here, I do not endorse any product. Just because I have commented on this thread does not mean I am trying to sell any of them and my addition was a private comment to Andreu, which he asked permission to use and I said yes. This does NOT mean I have any affiliation with this effect whatsoever and cannot answer questions about it as I just offered an idea (I didn't even write the idea up). Andreu - Keep doing what you are doing, look forward to seeing what the future holds for you. Pete x |

Personally I agree that $40 is pricing the effect too high for a single effect ebook from a new creator. Compare this to say Paul Carnazzo's Dreamweaver card that's only $30 and comes with the card already made up and Paul has a proven track record. Likewise this is priced at the same level as Ran Pinks zen system that this effect is based on. Ran Pinks system also gives you the persons birthday and of course Ran has a proven track record. Then of course this is $10 more than Pete Turners isobella's star which gives you the persons birthdate (from which you can get their star sign if you so desire) and Pete Turner has a proven track record, and isobella's Star requires no paper crane moment.
For much less than this I could get Art vanderlays new book which has several effects rather than just one. Personally I won't get this because if I want to have them look at something I will use my astrology gallery in telefoto (which only cost me $30) and if I don't want them to look at something I will use isobella's star, a PA or a straight out guess. But even if I didn't have those other methods the price would put me off because for $40 I could get a book or DVD with a ton of effects, or at least 3 effects that I know of that reveal the birthday as well as the star sign. A star sign reveal is not that strong an effect, it's a nice effect but not a major effect. Revealing somebody's actual birthday (1in 365 vs 1 in 12) is far more impressive so if I really wanted to perform this effect at this price point my money would go to isobellas star or Ran Pinks zen system of even Atlas Brookings the prodigal so that I could learn to do this via PA well. $40 puts this into the full blown book, DVD or single effect with gimmicks provided price range, at this price point a single effect with no gimmicks supplied has to be a very strong effect that has been solidly worked by a creator with a good track record to tempt my cash away from purchases that offer far more for that hard earned cash.
