Right!
Just done this with the mrs (she selected 6 cards & wrote them down) In all the tricks I have performed for her she said this was the best & she could not stop asking how this was done. Superb! A must buy |

I have had a chance to play with this a couple times now and for "cunning" audiences this is a KILLER. I do a sleight of hand version as well but for certain times this can be a total mind blower.
Bravo to Liam. If you enjoy this one, check out his over work with his eBooks, Thunk is another one I really enjoyed! |

This thread totally passed me by, but my friend performed this for me yesterday, and I was blown away!
My order will be in before the end of the day, and I can't wait to get it. Trick of the year for me.

I was a sleight heavy multiple selection guy until I picked this up from Liam. Let me tell you this right off the bat ... I have switched to the MRD deck. It allows me to relax a bit more when doing the routine, and makes certain things far cleaner than a sleight only routine. I still go to my original routine from time to time to keep my chops up, but the MRD deck is a winner! I have thrown in a few sleights with it to accomplish a few stages that are staples of my original routine, but this is really great as is.
I have performed the MRD now probably 80 times and it is STRONG!

This is a tool. Use it as such.
I confess, I don't have this and have never seen it, other than Liam's performance video. But, I have plenty of Liam's published work and he is nothing if not efficient. It's all about the effect and impact, and that comes from a combination of things (tools, talent, etc.). Like anything, I'd recommend you have a couple of ways that you perform this effect. If you have Liam's deck handy, then you're highly weaponized for an ease-of-use hard-hitting effect, depending on how you play it (it's also very easy to make a multiple selection effect a very dull affair, if your presentation is ho-hum or lacking). If you're handed a deck and asked to 'do that thing where everybody picks a card', you can opt into one of your straight-deck versions. There are some great, easy methods for this effect. As previously mentioned, check out John Guastaferro's version in his booklet 'Discoveries and Deceptions'. And for another very fair, loose-handling approach (though it does make use of a time-tested gaff) check out Steve Bedwell's in his booklet 'Thick Schtick'.
It's all in the reflexes.

This plays in the same league as the LCD display, the PDF format and the PIN number.

Once you get the deck and know what the gimmick is, make sure you check out the work that Nathan Kranzo has done with it.

Crag and Dave of The Wizard Product review performed and reviewed MRD:
http://youtu.be/_vtMWXEoksg?t=6m52s For the hobbyists ( who buy most of the magic ) that isn't going to dedicate themselves to learning a multiple revelation routine ( which is used by most Professionals ) Liam's MRD would be gold to them. Well done, Liam! |

I don't always agree with the WPR but I still really enjoy their honest and balanced reviews. It is still my favorite. Now I want to go buy the pennies

I don't have MRD, so I'm not sure if the DVD covers having one of the cards signed. If you wanted to have one card signed for the final revelation using the MRD, you could force a card taken from a non gaff deck and add it to the MRD deck.
Eric DeCamps would do a routine where several people would select cards to be found in magical ways and only one of them would be signed, discovered inside his wallet. Aldo Colombini's "7th Floor" multiple selection routine has one card signed and appearing in his wallet ( using Peter Marucci's method from his One-Man Parade in The Linking Ring, 1985 ). Got it today. Thanks for the included candy, it went well with the DVD. This is very good, easy and sneaky - just the way I like it. Recommended for anyone wanting to do this type of routine. And the extra stuff on the DVD is great as well. This got me re-reading a chapter in Encyclopedia of card magic as well.

Liam, I'm sorry but this can be done exactly the same with a normal deck and even no sleights. I learned it from this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roUpLLOC3ao
I think he learned it from Criss Angel. ;-) Seriously though, this looks great. Always enjoyed your teaching and performance on other Big Blind Media DVDs. I will definitely be checking this out. |

While the MRD wouldn't necessarily be ideal for table hopping, resetting the deck can be done in about 20 seconds whilst moving from table to table. Some may worry about a muggle seeing something amiss during the reset, but I personally wouldn't worry about it too much, though I'd obviously keep the face of the deck from view during the reset.
Some may feel that the reset on this wouldn't suit table hoppers, but opinions vary so MRD might be worth a try for you. Quote: On Mar 7, 2019, brehan wrote:
