I "think" Burned Vision is resonating so well when I perform it is because it has some symbolic particulars. Fire has religious tones ( and people think fire is cool ) and a restoration.

I'm using the Phoenix myth angle. This deserves to be treated as an effect that touches them emotionally.......

.........and then I go into an ace assembly;-)

I would think after something that strong, sponge balls would be the perfect rounder for that set.

Hey BV groupies!
I just added this KILLER phase to the BV folder, much love to Hakeem Collins for the inspiration for this.
It really ties the entire effect together..beautifully!

Also, for those who have my SULFER, have SULFER in another pocket and when BV is done do a simple pocket switch or hand to hand switch for SULFER and you got 2 KILLER match effects using "apparently" the same book!
JM

I don't see Sulfur for sale, what am I missing?

I havent performed this in public yet but I have watched the download and created the gimmick...i started playing around with it I have to say that its a worker...jm teaches a signed and un-signed version...now I'm not big into signed effects but the choreography that's involved in burned vision's signed version is so smooth that I prefer that over the unsigned version ...i believe that adding Burned Vision to your arsenal of magic will leave a lasting memory with your audience...

Thanks for sharing this great piece of magic JM

You guys are mui kind!
JUST ADDED a brand NEW effect using a modified BV gimmick, this will allow you to take a match book out (open it up...maddy) show them un-lit, take one out, have them hold onto the pack, light the match, wave it under the pack and when they open up the pack, all the matches are burnt. Fully examinable at the end. This raises BV to $10.

Hey Guys,Im enjoying this effect,

I have tried both versions and feel both have strength and weaknesses,

I'm still brainstorming to come up with a combination of the two,

Im trying to have everything the same in the original Burned Vision Version(say that 5 times quickly),

but I still think its possible to bring out the matchbook already closed with no switches,
and be true to the original version,I feel it!

Ill show it to Mr Miller if and when I come up with it.

crossed fingers

I seem to recall seeing somthing similiar in an old book of magic. I can't remember which book right now. It may have been something by Bill Severn.

Now that I think more about it, it may have been an effect where a match is removed, lit, and then travels back to the matchbook. Either way I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way.
