A true miracle. An ingenious handling of the vanishing cane, definitely worth buying if you are a working pro.

I could see maybe Cardini doing this in his act... Looking for a place to put his cane down... no place to put it and Swan not there yet to take it from him... shrugging his shoulders and... it just vanishes in a flash!--Then his startled reaction and the look of bewilderment on his face!

This is a new video for my Vanishing Cane with better video quality and it shows casual handling of cane and twirling before the vanish itself. Many of you asked if this can be used anytime during an act, if cane can be moved from hand to hand, twirled etc.. so here it is.

That is sooo magical!! It looks like trick photography. Bravo, Bojan!!!!
To see someone put so much thought and effort into perfecting a trick that is very common and happens so quickly, is just plain refreshing!!! I can only imagine what the rest of your act must be like.

Bojan, your improvements have revolutionized this Richard Ross basic effect. You are to be commended for developing what no one else was able to do. Really great handling and improvements to the Visible Vanishing Cane.

This effect was created and explained by Richard Ross on his Stevens DVD. Back in the 1970's Supreme Magic sold the hookup only and I purchased it. It was credited as the invention of Richard Ross, that is why I sent my check to England at one. It worked very well, but as presented and sold, it was only an opening trick. Even on the Richard Ross DVD he still gives no advice to present it at anytime later in the an act or presentation. I was so young and did not develop thinking on tricks, but only presented them as the instructions described. The problem I had was that a very heave cord was provided, and I did not experiment with anything else. Boy, was I mistaken. I have long sold off this metal device for vanishing a metal cane.
Then in one of later volumes published by David Ginn, he described the same vanishing cane using a Fantasio plastic cane. Fantasio later sold the "Reel Visible Vanishing Cane" and I have one that I work with. I could never get it work, as there was not detailed hand and finger, wrist and body movements explained in the printed instructions. I believe it is also published in the Fantasio hard bound book, but I have checked as of this post. Bojan, was the 1st person to take this version of the Visible Vanishing Cane to this wonderful truly magical experience. His additions work perfectly and his handling is above all others. It is really exciting being able to watch a simple trick develop into a real trick. Seems many creative minds have all added something, but Bojan Barisic has put the finishing touches on this effect. I do hope you create or published a detailed DVD your exact handling for this "Real Vanishing Cane". |

Bojan Barisic has just informed me he has completed his new BB Vanishing Cane Kit. I cannot think of words to express what I have witnessed. This is the most comprehensive methods for vanishing the Fantasio Plastic Vanishing Cane every invented. He has taken all the knowledge from books over the years, that expressed an idea or method and made them practical reality that actually works in the real world performing situations, by using his problem solving and creative mind to meld ideas from Tommy Wonder, Fantasio, Richard Ross and others to actually work for every magician.
Not only has he figured out the Reel Vanishing Cane, but also how to do in a regular suit jacket, a vest only, and even just a long sleeve shirt. He has figured out methods that work just about for every situation a performer of today desires in dress choices. He even improved on Richard Ross idea, which uses no body attachment at all. What you will receive is a kit, allowing you to set up the vanishing cane any of the ways described in the instructional DVD. Some methods require some sewing, but if you have ever sewn on a button or repaired a hole your socks, then you have the skills to set up the version you desire. Why, because every human is different in body build and height. The method you chose will should be customized to yourself. Probably the best feature is Bojan has made the vanish so that after the vanish, nothing get in the way for the rest of your act. This is what always was a problem with the original ideas by the original creators. The now what factor, I would do the trick, and am stuck with this thing pulling or worrying that something might drop down or out and make me look foolish. Bojan Barisic has thought of every possible solution to every situation. I would call him a Genius. Fantastic! And he is willing to share it with the magic community. I have to state this is revolutionary in the field of stage magic! |

I agree completely with Bill's review.
The BB Vanshing Cane is the kind of effect that makes an audience gasp and which establishes you as a Magician with a capital M. It's the kind of effect that would add a facet to a "good magic act" that would raise it to the level of "a great magic act"! If you could _really_ make a cane vanish or change into something else, it would look just like this! It's hard to choose a favorite effect from the many that the BB Vanishing Cane makes possible. They ALL look GREAT. I can't choose just one favorite--but if I can choose two they would be: Cane to Confetti Cane to Card Fan Okay, I can't limit my favorites to just two! The cane to silk where the silk is free to use for another trick is great. The complete vanish of the cane is GREAT! They're all great! Like I said when I first saw the video of Bojan's Vanishing Cane--It's something that would have been perfect for Cardini's act! Or anyone's act for that matter! And I bet that there are magicians reading this who will come up with even more startling applications of the BB Vanishing Cane! ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

Bojan, this looks fantastic ! Congratulations on improving this old classic, making it look even more like "real magic" than it ever did before.
Have you tried your hook up with a vanishing candle ? |

Thanks Bill and Sonny for a nice review of my vanishing cane. Feedback from my customers has been really great in last 3 months. I really worked hard to include all props you need to perform it from regular tails to swimming suit. As Bill said each one of us is different in size and I always try to make everything adjustable. Sewing is only needed if you perform just in vest and it is 2 min job that even my 10 years old son can do it. Cane, electronic flasher and all props used in both promotional videos posted above need no adjustments or adjustment would be really minimum like retying a knot. Since I made that promotional video I changed my web domain and it is now www.bojanmagic.com Site is still under construction but anyone interested in the cane or my other products can contact me directly on bojanbarisic@gmail.com or if you live in Asia you can order it here http://www.magiclismstore.com/#!product/......-barisic
David, there are 3 different methods of vanishing cane used in those 2 videos. 2 of them works fine with a candle as well. There are tons of applications that I teach on my lecture using one of BB Vanishing Cane set up. Here is a sample from my lecture 2 weeks ago where I perform no get ready Miracle rope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnuKlshF8d4&feature=youtu.be |
