Hi,there.
I'm now looking for the information and prop about John Gaughan's magic kettle. I will attach the short discriptions about this. Appearing Magic Kettle. Los Angeles, John Gaughan, ca. 2004. The magician produces an imposing nickel plated tea kettle from an empty foulard, then pours any drink called for from the kettle, at the request of the spectators. Manufactured after a design of John Willmann. When collapsed, the kettle still contains the liquid necessary to perform the effect. One of six examples manufactured by Gaughan. Includes mahogany carrying case and five cordial glasses (the sixth lacking). http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/9089812 Does anyone know about this? I'm so serious buyer if someone hand over to me... I have looked for this prop for really long time. Someone, please please help me and give me the information! |

This type of kettle is mentioned on the book Greater Magic. As far as I know, a few only were made and there will not be more for sale

You’re going to have to watch every Potter and Potter Auction or contact Gabe to find one.

You can read about it in Greater Magic. Ken Klosterman had one so contacting Gabe would be a good option as he is handling the auction of Ken's collection.

I had one. Sold it for $6,000 on a Martinka auction.
