Hi guys!
I'm working on quite an exciting project with invisible elastic thread. At the moment, I'm using Infinity Two, but I'm finding it's not ideal for my purposes. What I'm looking for is something that is fairly thin, not massively elastic, but very strong (e.g. it contracts quite powerfully.) Does anyone know if such thread exists? If you need any more information, please do get in touch! Struan. |

Twister Magic sells Twister Thread that is pretty strong.

Thanks, Robin. My worry is that I'm in the UK and shipping from America tends to be pretty exorbitant! Do you know where I can buy twister thread?

Since the creator, George Iglesias, owns Twister Magic.com, he should be willing to tell you if anyone carries it in the UK. It should be a rather lightweight package and they are willing to ship by whatever method you request. At least you could check with them and see what it would cost.

Granted you got a useful answer but I am slightly stunned that you thought to ask someone in the US where to buy stuff in the UK.

Since no one from the UK responded, he had no choice but to accept info offered from the US.

Djurmann, I have actually bought stuff from the US before. It's a pain in the neck though!

Personally I would have tried Google but it worked so what do I know? Good luck with the thread. |
