Hi all,
Just recently started practicing memorized deck stuff and I'm really liking the Darwin Ortiz tricks I've seen that use a stack. So I ask the good people of the Shuffled not Stirred forum: Of Scams and Fantasies with Cards and Lessons in Card Mastery Which has the better mem-deck routines? |

If you haven't already done so I would recommend you invest in one of Simon Aronson's book or Tamariz's book as they are dedicated to memorised deck effects and principles. The bang for buck you would get from these books is fantastic.
If you have already delved through these books and really want learn Darwin's take and thoughts on mem deck, an inexpensive way to get a glimpse is to download this:- http://www.vanishingincmagic.com/magic-d......ed-deck/ Test your luck effect is one of the mem deck effects published in Cards and Lessons in Card Mastery but you can see it in the download above. Zen Master is Scams and Fantasies is my personal favorite Ortiz mem deck effect. If you know of Ben Harris' X- ray, then Zen Master duplicates that effect plus so much more by having a 3 phases effect that gets more farier, stronger and impossible each phase. |

Thanks for the responses. Baobow, I have that video and am very fond of the routines. I also have the Scams and Fantasies with Cards DVDs, but I know that not all the books routine's are explained, and I'm sure the explanation in the books is more in depth. So I have 2 or three from each of them already in video form and like them pretty well, so it's a tough choice.
