Bob's take on the classic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhxbGc16......embedded In deciding what I'm going to perform, if I carry this then I have to drop something else out. Chad Long's FLASH or Charlie Frye's CHIPS aren't going anywhere, so I'll have to pass on this one. Does look great, though. |

This is a great well crafted item, Bob has doen a nice job creating a multi-phase in the hands routine that is self contined in the little red and black box. I think this is the best produced version of this effect ever put out... he has put a lot of thought into it.

I have had this for years and had the pleasure of seeing Bob demonstrate it. Mark Mason also does a marvelous job of performing this fine piece of micro magic.

I have it. Cute, and I take it out and play with it once every year or so, but I haven't performed it and probably never will. Not really magical in my eyes, it just looks like a neat little puzzle.

If I'm at a gig for a long time and have done cards coins etc I quite often do this as it's different.
I've modified the story line patter a little to suit me but it's a great piece, so much so I have 2 just in case 1 lets me down, but I've been doing this now for about 5 years and it still works fine. The quality is top notch and the outer carry box is very good quality also. We don't sell this, I wish we did as it's a great trick.

This does look like a really fun item to play with though . Look pretty " cool " ...

Just a note on this effect my drawers keep falling out. On the explanation video they say to squeeze the box,I found out if you crimp the edges of the drawers in the middle kind of like a
breather card crimp it will not fall out.Fingers on the out side thumb inside. |

Anybody that owns this can you say whether or not the matchbox sleeves and the boxes can be openly shown to The spectators? And I am assuming that they cannot be handed out to the spectators but can you confirm if that is the case?
Thanks! RNK

Great tip on the drawers. Mine kept falling out as well. Good routine. Not earth shattering but a fun interlude

Now this comes with a box to keep them in and the end of the routine you put them in the box and let the spectator push each drawer down while they are in the box and none of the drawers move. So basically you are instantly reset and you just put the Box lid on and go on to another fact. A great idea using the Box that was not used before.

This is a really nice version. When I seen paul demo Deception at the blackpool convention I never hesitated and got it. This is very visual easy to do and can be handed out immediately, reset 10 seconds. Graham

I agree, Pauls' version looks nice as well. Only thing I do not like about Paul's as compered to Bob's is the openness of the hands when closing the drawers. Paul's hands look as if he is concealing or hiding something when closing the drawers on the last couple phases where as in Bob's you can hold the boxes with your fingertips while closing the drawers. Though I highly doubt laymen would notice this. Overall a nice version by Paul.
Mr. Effecto, I believe I heard Paul is not selling his items on the open market anymore, you have to catch him at a convention. Wonder if this is like his Matchbox Mambo? If so seems your one hand is going to be dirty at the end.
