This looks really good! Is anyone going to buy this?

I've seen better.
I don't like the idea of shifting metal INTO a paper clip. I think the shifting metal is good for spoons and keys, but paper clips just seem like way too much work to me. |

I am thinking that it's easier to find a matching paperclip than a spoon/key, so you won't get comments like "Your spoon looks different from the other ones in the restaurant..."

I have the Shift Key and it is superb
For the price of this paper clip and knowing the method definitely worth a go |

The shift key is terrible, it looks like a thin Cracker Jack key not a real house key.
I hope they did a better job with the paper clip. |

I would imagine paperclip should look really good. The issue with larger objects is thickness, etc. The material I presume they are using for the paperclip starts as a wire anyway, so bending it into shape should be straightforward.

Since the metal is thin do you think most people will simply assume it is a shape-me...y wire?

I wonder how you transport this or carry it around for walk around

I think people that know what the material is will suspect it regardless of whether it is key, spoon or clip. Surprisingly few people know about this stuff so I think for the most part you will be safe. Also presentation can take a lot of heat off it. I like doing a few IT effects making each one more impossible than the next -- so when I get to the shift product they are burning it for some IT or PK and of course get nothing but magic.

Maybe you carry it around like you do the shift key. Or maybe it comes with something that will aid in its transport.

I tell you that, because, as a professional real live performer I do spoon, fork, key and coin bends since over 15 years and pretty much every time they ask me: is this special metal that bends with h**t? but besides that I would say: this is the best lookin' bending paperclip I've ever seen and I'm pretty sure I will get this just as a nice to have and for playin' around. for this price it is definetly a steal!!!

I think presentation is key...if you're straining and appear to be sweating like Stephen King's Carrie, then the focus will be on you...if you do it with a casual hand gesture th focus is on the metal. Remember the way David Blaine sold the ba****** le******** by acting like he's passing out? Sell it and they'll buy it...

Use it as a paperclip first then unbend it and make it bend back. That should make it work for you.

My experience is the exact opposite of Rasmus. I've bent hundreds of keys and forks over the last 10+ years and honestly can't recall anyone ever mentioning a special metal that bends with heat. So maybe it's more popular/common in other countries

True. I use real keys and have nevertheless ride a Shift product. Demos always look good but I just don't want to deal with carrying them around and resetting.
