You have no idea that it is true but claim that it isn't eh. This is called putting yourself in a box. Better to start from having no position and looking into the question.
Don't blame me if your science can not measure things because of politics but take it into account when considering if your science is farcical or not.

Tommy can you read? The posts are separated by time. When I wrote the first one, I didn't know about the exemption, but I did demonstrate that your claim (that the military industrial complex was immune to scientific testing) was false.
After reading further, I posted the article which shows that the political exemption was true (which I didn't know before) and that it is being removed. So tommy you remain completely wrong in your claim about scientific exemption, and you remain completely foolish in conflating my two posts.

Well you accepted climate science and as they say possession is 9/10ths of the law and so you are foolish to deny its yours.

"How can the world better prepare for tsunamis?
'Well, I am fairly disappointed that almost six years after we've had the Indonesian tsunami, we're still lacking in certain areas. One is public education. Then, around the world as we go around the Pacific, we see failures of the system. For example, in Samoa, people evacuated by car. There were traffic jams and people drowned. The hills were very close. In some cases they were 300 feet [91 meters] away. They could have easily climbed up the hill, 30 feet [nine meters], and would have been safe, versus waiting in a traffic jam to move away from the beach. What we saw in Sumatra and Indonesia last October, when there was another tsunami, is that the government relied on these lines that go underneath the TV screens and interrupt the broadcast saying, 'There's a tsunami warning, evacuate.' Well hello, most of the villages at risk, the islands don't have any electricity. They could have had sirens, and they could have been powered by solar generators, solar panels, and they could have communicated with signals like what we have in mobile telephones. But they didn't. They relied exclusively on broadcasting something on TV when most people there don't even have electricity. So it's gaffes like this that just shouldn't happen in this day and age. After we've seen essentially hundreds of thousands of people having died in tsunamis in the last six years...'" http://www.voanews.com/content/tsunami-w......190.html |

At what cost to who, Jon? At what benefit to each of us? is another question. Here we again address fear and love.

"Of course that card should be on top of the pack. So people should do something about it. We should have research into paper, ink, finishes, tables, car boxes and air density ... and solve the problem of getting that card on top of the pack." Camus? - how about Swift? Looks like they forgot about the earth's tilt and climate change. Guess the models get a new variable.

Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals1 show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: Climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position.

The real question is how could we NOT impact our environment? Certainly we have an effect.
How can anyone of reason dispute this?
