You're most likely right. It looks like misuse of both the kids and the court. After I found Article II section 7 - I was hoping they'd argue Article II section 8 against 7 with the kids as losing access to the environment with its scenic beauty etc. But no - an appeal to radical lawmakers, do-gooders and not-so-useful idiots looking for good causes.

Can't wait.
Yea the young have never registered and voted before. Never happened.
Interesting that you describe President Obama that way though. I thought he was a pretty good historic milestone. YMMV.

Stop the presses. Who might the plethora of radical lawmakers be? I'd certainly like to know. More rare than a brace of passenger pigeons at a woolly mammoth convention IMO.

Not to mention the young are in total fear of the climate, or guns, or speech they have been brainwashed to disagree with. Don't you love irony?
Keeping then scared is how to mobilize them!

Not at all, but I can see how a D.O.S.W.C. would post e response like that; you know - due to the desperation.
I'd like to take this time to wish all the 'muricans a great election season. Looks like you'll be having a blue Christmas.

Didn't you just come off a banning for being too political? I guess we can only hope that the mods are paying attention.

It doesn't take much psychic ability to predict the party in power losing seats in the mid term. It is almost clockwork.
I think your prediction on the original Guardians movie was far more impressive.

I'm late to this conversation but it's sad to me that people are still arguing that climate change isn't happening. It snowed this April in the northeast multiple times. And that might make it seem like there is no global climate change happening simply because people think that climate change is "global warming". That's because that's how it was referred to originally but since people were not able to correctly interpret what the idea was it was changed to climate change. However it has been noticeably warmer in September, October and November when these months would be a transition to the winter (fall) however the temperature doesn't get cold until late November now. So in my personal observation the winter months (December to February) are now being shifted more to January to March. Snow used to appear in December now it doesn't appear until January. I have observed a complete shift in the seasons from how they were when I was a child. I have undoubtedly noticed a climate change and I would argue that everyone's life has been effected by climate change whether a small or large effect.

What is the perfect temperature? How do you know it is the right one?

Was this in reply to me or NYC?
I think you're referring to my prediction on the original Guardians movie but it was NYC who made the lame midterm prediction.

I was saying that predicting midterms is no big feat. Then I added your own prediction of the movie WAS a big feat to offer contrast.

The earth's climate has been changing since the beginning, before humankind, and it will continue to change after humankind. The debate over whether it is caused by humans or not is idiotic. You take care of YOUR planet regardless. I live in Southern California. For years, California took heat over it's emission controls which where different from the rest of the country. Ex: A vehicle made for Ohio couldn't be driven in CA. I can tell you from experience that the air in SoCal is 100 times cleaner than when I first came to the area 25 years ago. Did it matter whether we create global temperature or not? If we don't, does that mean we have a license to trash the planet? You are wasting your time debating whether it's our fault or not, instead of getting on with keeping it clean.

I'm surprised. RNK, you are for vehicle emission controls? How about substantial fines/jail time for the CEOS that pollute air and waterways? What about converting from plants that use coal or produce nuclear waste? I'd be very happy indeed if that's what you've been trying to urge us on to all these pages.
