After reading the various posts here...and seeing the cups in magic stores, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a video on the net somewhere showing someone doing an actual routine with the cups?

I'd like to see the overall differences and such.
Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel are all you need to study to learn to play guitar.

Ya know, thumb'...

I thought the same thing, in fact...does ANYONE in Los Angeles have a video camera, so they can tape Pete Biro doing HIS routine? He says he hangs out at the Magic Castle, and that's one tape I'd buy in a heartbeat!

With all that goes on there, you'd think someone'd have a camcorder running constantly! Smile

Stevens video has a little of the work with Charlie Miller's indian cups.

There may be something on tape with Shankar Junior. Do a google on him.

I think watch once and the file are delete on youtube. Basically they perform on floor, and every move is fast.

Btw, I just remember, Magic and Mystery Tour by penn and teller where they visit india.

The indian magician did fool teller in some way.

Thumbs linger if you want to see the classical method done with the grammar of the trick in right place then please see these performances.

If you want to see an American do the Hindu Cups and Balls as it was done by the Classical Masters please see this

What Pop Haydn is suggesting is an interesting piece of performance, done by a real Street Magician and believe me it is very entertaining. Technically also he is good but in the three moves he knows, which is interesting to the public, but for Magicians there is little to learn there. These videos have been posted here plenty of times but the best three in my opinion keeping in view the technique, grammar classic nature of the trick there is no one better. If you Google you will find a few more but this is the very best after my research and take it from an Indian.
