Greetings. I have been digging through my old box of magic tricks with the intention of putting some things on eBay, and I'm discovering that Tenyo items are very collectible. I'm hoping to get advice on how to price these. All are in excellent condition and most have instructions, but none have boxes. Thanks!

Menta-Marvel
Dragon Altar
Silver Express
Crystal Pyramid
Zone Infinity
Illusionarium
Crystal Cleaver
Credit Slasher

And here are a few related to Tenyo:
The Knight's Tomb (MB)
Super Cubio (says Doug Henning, but it's identital to the Tenyo)

Hi garbanzo, welcome.

Since you only have 3 posts you might get a better response if you introduce yourself.
Look up each of your items on eBay and don't forget to check the completed listings in the advanced search mode.
Good luck,
Ed

Thanks for the replies! I did check eBay but most of these have not sold recently, and the few that did went for surprisingly high prices, so I thought I'd have ask the experts Smile

I think Stereo's price in Crystal Pyramid may be a little high in my experience at least.

Yes In fact without box prices are very differents, Boxes are so importants for collectors, so maybe it's too high for most of them.

I put some of the items on eBay with prices far below the most recent selling prices. They all have watchers already, so I guess the prices are reasonable...

A few of the more gimmicky tricks like Crystal Pyramid and Credit Slasher are tucked away in an attic many miles from here. I'll have to list those in a month or two when I've had time to dig them out.

Thanks again for the pricing tips. I hope these make their way to people who will use them more frequantly than I have since I bought them 20 years ago!

I have a big box of magic that I'll be selling this week, from gaffed cards to machined coins and everything in between. In need of some extra $$ so pitch in if you can Smile

Only 24$! Is it the real stuff, or that Made in China piece of crap Smile

I paid 50 euro for a second hand one, without packaging.

It's the real thing, made by Tenyo in Japan, with original instructions.

I'd like to get opinions on what a Mystery China Box is worth that has been opened but in like new condition with original box and instructions!

Thanks!

If you read the instructions for "Crystal Pyramid," you will see that there is a logical action to cover the first noise, and the second noise is entirely eliminated if you follow the instructions. There is no noise "problem" with "Crystal Pyramid."

"Coin in the Crypt" is not a Tenyo product. It was neither redesigned nor manufactured by Tenyo.

Mystery China Box, in perfect working condition with all six balls (in their box) and instructions? $75
