Hi All....
Familiar story....been lurking....Kids started watching Dynamo....so I've blown the dust of my old books and starting to get my magic chops up to speed.....got a heap of tricks that I can perform confidently but unsure as to how to get practise with an audience....and even which type of audience.... Anyway just saying hi!.... thanks to all the posters on BTW I have read A LOT before I registered!...very generous... Cheers all Steve |

Welcome stevoggo,
As far as breaking in new material (after a lot of practice) I always start with my Partner and then show some family members, then friends then maybe the Magic Club. If you have a local Magic Club or Brick and Mortar Magic Shop it can be a big help, if not, try and get a meet up in a coffee shop with one or two other local magicians. Are you into Close-Up or Stand-Up in particular? -Mary Mowder |
